For some reason I've got a feeling that Barrera's gonna look bad in this one, I just think his body has gotta be breaking down, he's been fighting forever. I used to have this old fight of Barrera on my computer where he was fighting at like 115 and he had this LA Guns/RATT/Poison long mullet fro, the guys been around for fucking forever and he's taken a lot of punches, I'm gonna go with youth and pick Juarez. Juarez against a fresh Barrera gets embarrassed, but I don't think MAB's got much left.

I agree with MAB being around a long time and young, fit and ready for war MAB would take Rocky to war and beat his ass but I disagree that Juarez can win,I mean that was the best of Juarez and possibly the worst of MAB and I still had Mab winning,I expect to see him turn on the style second time around but you are right,if MAB DOES get beaten,it's time to hang up the gloves.

But no matter what the outcome, fighting Pacman will not be a good idea for him. Many say he was not in top shape when he fought Pac, and I agree, but losing in such a lopsided manner is no excuse. Remember Pac is no Juarez, he had knocked out two defending champions before he faced Barrera. Pac KO'd tough Hector Velazquez in the 6th, who in turn went full 12 rounds with Juarez.
I'm starting to agree with that sentiment, that MAB may not be able to live with Manny now. I am a realist and I respect Pacquiao,he is an amazing fighter,P4P number 1 but I think his timing has been brilliant too...I will still maintain that a prime MAB and EM would give him hell. Why do I believe this? MAB-EM1,the feroicty, the boxing skills, they had EVERYTHING! Now EM has half that ferocity and MAB has practically lost it and is a total boxer, neither can hang with Pacquiao at the mo although I'm hoping Erik can third time around but that's being optimistic.

Marco won the fight but then again I am a big fan and Rocky's not bad either. Marco had an off night that he manged to salvage with his experience but the next time he should train harder and box more. He does that well you know. Marco usually does better the second time around and he knows what it is like to be stopped and Rocky hasn't experienced that yet. The key word is experience but youth has advantages as well. I pick as a sentimental and yet a sensible favorite Marco Antonio Barrera.

I think Rocky will win by knockout, first fight was a close fight, but the MAB odometer is at 276,087 miles. will be very Entertaining regardless .

It's like I said, he is a sentimental favorite but I really liked the odometer thing,

Take the poll & let's discuss this...because the fight is coming up soon.

MAB came on strong as fwock in the 11th round & from then on out took charge...but Juarez gave a hellof a fight.

    Talk to me people...let's discuss.

Berrera took over in the championship rounds...but prior to that...Juarez did his best...but Barrera's left hooks & his ring savy pulled him through on a draw tha turned in to a Barrera win.

    Again...talk to me people...let's discuss.
Your not thinking of starting the Drunken Rd. by Rd. thread now for this fight are you?

    Hahahahahah CC.

Anyways, only seen the fight once and I was in a rush because I was paintballing at the time so I was a little distracted. But from what I saw Barerra came on strong in the later rounds. It was really interesting to see how he struggled with the compact power puncher though. I don't even know if he made any real adjustments so much as he just waited for Juarez to tire out. That's what I remember from the fight, gonna try to get aroound to watching it but I have A LOT of catching up to do from missing this previous weekend.

You played paintball and watched boxing at the same time without getting shot? Mos Def should write a song about THAT

Well, I sat out a round but I had to watch tv in a room with about a billion opened windows and unpainted walls (my friends house was under construction) So I knew that I would get one so I kind of kept one eye on the fight and one eye outside.
