Yeh, he beat him once and lost 3 times, but Pepp had had 140 odd fights when they first fought.Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
I have got extended footage of atleast 2 of the fights on VHS - absolute quality!!
Both all time greats imo, I have Pepp ahead of Saddler based on careers and the fact that Pepp was not prime(sorry Gorilla
) when they fought

I wasn't around at the time but I heard he really did not lose any of those.
The worm has surely got to be the worst nickname ever for a boxer. He might as well call himself the Child Snatcher or The Rapist.Originally Posted by BIG H

I just watched the Roberto Duran - Beyond the glory thats my favorite one. Watching that footage of Duran in training and as young kid in Panama, watching him through the different phases of his career.
Found some GREAT 'P4P Profiles' (videos) of some of the guys we have mentioned.
Hope you enjoy them.

These are the most prolific boxers of all time when they are in their prime!
1) Ali- fought the some of the best heavyweights of alltime!
2) Roy Jones-fought suspicious competition but was virtually a flawless fighter in his prime!
3) Sugar Ray Robinson-unique fighter who possessed tremendous ability. Over 100 wins!
4) Mike Tyson-even though late in his career he was boxing's unpredictable menace, in his prime at around 19-21 he was a monster in the ring that could put lights out with either hand!
5) Sugar Ray Leonard and Pretty Boy Floyd- both excellent fighters. Sugar made his mark and Floyd is
making his mark as we speak.
I agree with all of them excpet for Lewis, I don't think he done enough to be considered the top great since he gained a name off of an over the hill Evander Holyfeild & Mike Tyson! (IMO)
1. Roy Jones Jr.- In his prime he was nearly unbeatable. And his competition was not suspicious, he defeated 15 past or current world champions.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
