One other comment if i may to the more knowledgable and experienced posters, I think it is unwise to criticize other peoples opinion with comments such as "stupid" or "idiot" it is unnecessary and discourages involvement in the forum. It wont be much fun talking to yourself. I encourage criticism or shall we say counter viewpoints esp when they are supported by evidence. Thanx to all.

I think Spinks as a heavy was past his best. My memory is as a 17 year old winning an Olymipic gold against a 300 bout Russian 26 year old and bashing the fuck out of him. I was impressed

The Spinks Jinx was a hard punch. I am not sure it is as sharp as Tommy Hearns right hand or John Mugabi's left hook, but it is hard and it would have been thrown at a division which Hagler was not accustomed to.
