    The Tyson who fought Evander would have knocked out Frazier, and the Tyson in his prime had way better defense, power, and speed than Frazier... it would have been no contest(Think Foreman-Frazier 1 minus Tyson getting hit hardly at all, and hitting Frazier way more.)
    i disagree fraizer was excellent fighter had good chin and way more heart than tyson i think fraizer could outgut tyson i see it going this way tyson wins early rounds drops fraizer early but fraizer weathers tysons storm and starts to discourage tyson by fighting back and he stops tyson late
    No way determination wouldn't go anywhere against a guy like Tyson for Frazier... Frazier wouldn't weather the first right uppercut.

    I think this shows that a fighter who is far inferior to Holyfield could land on Joe Frazier. I think Holyfield hits harder than people give him credit for, and he can take massive beating by far larger men than Joe Frazier. I think a more interesting fight would be Quawi vs. Frazier.

    Frazier wins this one because of Holyfield's tendency to brawl.

    Holyfield had a titanium chin & a huge heart, so I can't see a KO either way.

    Smokin Joe on points for me.

    agreed people forget how good fraizers workrate was he was like living windmill he threw alot of punches and fraizers bob and weaver style could give holyfield trouble plus fraizer hits harder but this is how i see it

    POWER= FRAIZER
    SPEED= HOLYFIELD
    HEART= ABOUT EQUAL
    CHIN= UMM TOUGH ONE MAYBE THE EDGE TO HOLYFIELD
    WORKRATE= FRAIZER

    it would be one hell of a slugfest and it would be close one i think fraizer on points

    i like the way people say tyson wasn't at his best when he fought holyfield, but they don't mention the fact holyfield wasn't in his prime either infact holyfield was more past it then tyson

    holyfield was 34 tyson was 30
    holyfield had had shoulder and heart probs plus all the wars he'd been in

    so a shot holyfield beat a shot tyson not a prime evander vs shot tyson

    i think evander may have outpointed smokin joe but its to tough to call on one fight they'd need 3 or 4 to show whos best

    They also forget that just one year earlier, he was sparked out by Riddick Bowe.

    There were people fearing for Holyfield's life before the fight, yet when he whips Mike, Mike is shot!!!!!!!

    Got to agree with you wholeheartedly.

    The thing is, Holyfield was a good boxer & if he elected to box, he may have won, but he just loved tear-up & that would have played right into Frazier's hands.

    I totally disagree with Frazier being a harder puncher, and my reason is because back in the day they use to fight with 8oz. gloves, and thats way easier to knock somebody out with than the gloves nowadays. Also Chin Holyfield fought as a whole alot harder punchers, and took Foreman's punches way better. As for workrate watch Holyfield fight Quawi... With somebody that had so many holes in his defense Holyfield definitely had the stamina to out throw Frazier.

    yea but mate that was when he was cruiserweight he had hell of alot of stamina as cruiserweight ill give u that in that fight with dwight they both threw over 100 punches a round as hw his workrate wasnt as good and i feel fraizer could outwork him on the inside

    One thing is that he is taller than Frazier, and I think his uppercuts would be devastating on the inside, against much larger men Holyfield couldn't throw as many punches because he had to be smarter about then to come in, but he definitely threw alot of punches against Foreman.

    Of the last 15 years conditioning has taken a step back . As a proffesor of Physiology said to me just recently theres been an advancement in theory, but a regression in practice. They dont know how to apply it yet, but theyll learn eventually.
