Not wanting to slag him off too much because even though the heavyweight scene is so bad right now he is one of the best guys around today, and thats all anyone can ever be but I just really hope he doesnt beat Rocky Marcianos unbeaten record, hes getting scarily close to it! Even if he ends up being remembered as the best of this (incredibly poor) era that would be ok but if he beat Marcianos record he'll sadly be thought of as one of the best ever and thats just bloody ridiculous, please someone beat him.

McCline probably very rarely ever meets a dude his own size, much less a guy half a foot taller. I like McClines chances in this fight though if I were betting, it would be on Nick.

I think Valuev-McCline will disappoint greatly. Jameel is a classic scaredy cat and Valuev is just goofy. Jameel has nothing in his arsenal to hurt Valuev with and even if he did he wouldn't throw it for fear of being hit back.

Valuev is a fraud and McCline doesn't deserve a title shot....I will also add the only reason Ray Austin is Wlad's mandatory is to keep Wladimir from unifying the titles and legitimately being viewed as THE BEST in the division.....as long as Wladimir only has one belt, Don King can say "He's no better than any of the other title holders" but he and everyone else knows Wladimir is the king of this division he lacks only the crown which has been kept away from him by usurpers of the division!!!

I've been looking at some of Valuev's fights.
He does land a decent straightish right hand.
He hopefully is getting better.
Sure looks disinterested before the fights tho',not a lot of intensity.Sort of has that "gee in sorry im so big attitude",will you still be my friend??
It's hard for these big guys to fit in. I know what its like. I have an 11 year old boy (one of my 4 kids) who is a fit top athlete in hockey and football and wieghs 235 lbs! He has a 50" chest 44" waist and 30" thighs!!! size 12 mens shoes!! Its hard for him in grade 6 where the average kid is about 75 lbs. He takes it easy on all the other kids in sports,I cant get him to be aggressive.(maybe a good thing!)

Kids that are that age aren't ready to be aggressive....I coached football for middle school and it's difficult to get kids to understand that it's not personal, it's just a part of the game. It took me a while to do hit as hard as I could in football and ice hockey....and boxing mainly because I felt I would hurt someone, which scares you as a kid it's confusing to know when to unleash the "mean" side of you. In life you are taught to take people's feelings into account, in sports the fact that you can dish out such punishment and be rewarded for it ....it's hard to get used to but it comes...for most it does, some people just don't have it in them to be mean or hit hard.

Valuev in my opinion tries to hit hard but he just can't, he's TOO big, he lacks the snap to add the real pop to his punches. He clubs like a caveman and it's effective but it also makes him rabbit punch and I dislike that, intentional or not it's one of the things that can seriously hurt people...like tackling with your head down in football...you can lead with your head but no spearing
