I voted Ouma by Decision. I'm callin it this time, so IF I'm right and Ouma pulls it off, GIVE ME MY FUKIN CREDIT THIS TIME!!! Don't just pretend like it didn't happen, like when I predicted B-hop to beat Tarver when everyone else virtually was pickin Tarver to win. Here's why after careful deliberation I am pickin Ouma:

Ouma applies constant pressure, is a great volumne puncher and NEVER gets tired. Taylor is a good fighter, a much bigger fighter, but he got the belt given to him, and shoulda lost to Wright, much as I despise fukin Wright. Also Taylor does NOT respond well to pressure at all, just look at the rounds he lost against Wright, it was cus he was pressured. Taylor gets tired late in fights too, Ouma don't. Finally, about Taylor KO'n Ouma easily, at first I thought so too, BUT Taylor could not KO Freddy Cuevas, who by the way Ouma did knock out, and he couldn't freakin knock out the contender winner Grady Brewer. So he may very well KO Ouma, but it is not a foregone conclusion by any means. Ouma has great heart, and I am yet to see him KO'd, I know he has been stopped way back when, but I haven't seen it. So I see Ouma outworkin Taylor en route to a well deserved UD. Don't know if he'll get it though from those bitch judges, God knows they LOVE Taylor.

I've been saying almost the same things since the fight unvailed..... Except for the "GIVE ME MY FUKIN CREDIT THIS TIME!!!" part
I too voted and have said that I don't think JT will be able to decode/find something to be able to nuetralize Oumas volume punching....
IMO, Ouma has to start off his volume punching from 1 second in to the fight and just keep throwing the way he normally does....

And yeah! and Ouma please stay off the ganja....

CC to you then. We shall both recieve credit for this one, if Ouma pulls it off then. Hopefully any way. And I totally agree with ya man, Ouma better put pressure on Taylor's ass right away, not let him breathe. Cus if Ouma stays on the outside for even 2 rounds or more, and lets Taylor get off those straight punches, he will be KO'd IMO. He must get on the inside and stay there. It's a tuff way to fight, but its the only way Ouma knows how to fight, so I believe in him. LETS GO OUMA! END THIS FUKIN HBO HYPE MACHINE ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!

I don't like this fight. Ouma is barely a natural 154 pounder. And he can't win a decision in Arkansas.

I'm going to be so scared because I'm an Ouma fan I want him to do well but I don't want to see him beaten badly

Mick and Hulk, dude's,I think you guys are way off so if you get this right,I'll give you LOADS of credit becausE I don't see anyway of Ouma winning. PLus,JT must have improved in the time from the Wright fight,he's been training with Manny Steward right?

I will be surprised if this fight makes it to the late rounds. Taylor will be to big to strong for Ouma. Ouma's punchs will only have the affect as a fly to a horse, nothing.

Taylor by (T)KO in the middle rounds.
i dont know man, fly on a horse is a little bit of a stretch dont u think? Yes Ouma is a lot smaller and I am predicting a JT victory, but Kassim has mad heart and doesnt stop punching...what is that WWF slogan...ruthless aggression? Guy has that; anyone with that kind of heart and aggression you have to watch out for. I really think he can hit harder than what you described in your entry. I want to see the underdog pull it off here and i think Kassim Ouma has a good chance of pulling out the upset. I have questioned JT's heart before like in the 12th round of the Winky Wright fight (basically doing nothing) and the last round of the first Bernard Hopkins fight (turning away from Hopkins while backed against the ropes and not punching back). That fight I thought should have been a draw or a SD to B-Hop. Either way, if he pulls this against Ouma, without racking up a huge lead first, he could be in trouble. Do I think Ouma can KO him? Probably not, but that doesnt mean he won't stop him if JT stops punching back late like he has made a pattern of. Another thing is that JT is way overlooking and underestimating Kassim Ouma's defensive abilities. Yes he is an offensive fighter but to say that he has no defense is just plain stupid. He's a professional fighter and a world champion. He knows how to defend himself or he wouldnt be where he is. I'm rooting for K.Ouma and the upset but common sense says the bigger taller man will box from the outside to a UD or SD victory.
You have valid points against Taylor, but Ouma wasnt known as power puncher at 154 so I seriously doubt he will some how have more that much more power at 154. So you think Ouma has a better defense that Winky? Taylor has been in with two of best defensive fighters (Bhop and Winky), I dont think Ouma's defense is going to bother Taylor a lot, and if I remember right he had a good showing against both fighters. Regardless if you think he won or lost those fights, he looked better than most people do against thsoe two.

CC TYBUFF,I totally agree, like JT or not,he earnt respect with his showings against those defensive wizards and regardless of wether you thought JT won or not,he gave them both tough fights. And your points on Ouma are true too,he may very well be extremely busy but once JT realises he can walk through Ouma's shots,Ouma is in trouble. Good post bro.

Two divisions apart!? Going up two divisions and challenging a pretty big puncher of that division? I don't know what to make of it. Is it courage or is it stupidity? Well the ever nice-guy pacfan will go with the courage part, I guess. Taylor is about the only one I've seen so far who had what it takes to beat Winky, but unfortunately his heart was unwilling...

The thing about Winky and Bernard's defence though is that both spend time on the outside as well as the inside allowing Taylor to get off punches. If Ouma stays in Taylors face the whole time he has a chance possibly, I haven't been impressed by Taylors inside work in the past.

yo, for real, christm,as parties are gay

i used to have tro go to a family reunion christmas parts shit every year, until i turned 18 or 19 and i was like 'you, fuck that shit, i refuse to go' and i stopped going

i used to just sit on a couch and drink beer and smoke extreme amounts of ciggarettes with some uncle who used to be one of the westies putting his arm around me telling me about how if my grandmother was alive i would like her literally about 57 times in a row, drunk off his ass

i didnt even know that section of the family until those parties started when i was around 11, most of them live in jersey or upstate in the gay ass suburbs, and i dont really like people so it was fucking gay to have to go to those parties

i was just happy that like 97% of them smoked cuz i could go without ciggarettes and manage to smoke about 50, now that ive quit i cannot imagine bearing one of those parties
