There's no need to harsh on someone like that.

I agree. This thread was good but went south.
I think we got them all. You guys took all the ones I could think of.

I would have to say that this following fellar below was hated by many:
    Hector Camacho

Following in his footsteps is Paulie Malignaggi

I would not call them villians but since someone touched on Prince Nass, I guess they fall in the wannabee villians but just plain azzholes category.

floyd mayweathers pre-fight, telivised, conference call along with all of the pre-fight interviews prior to the mayweather/gatti fight were total classics

a couple of my personal favorite lines:

"Yeah i got money............. i got millions"

"He cant ever beat me, hes lost 6 times theres no way i could ever lose to a fighter thats lost 6 times."

so cocky (you have to actually see the pre-fight to know how funny it was) it was hilarious

honorable mention (and cc to the 1st person that can name the other fighter because it slips my mind at the moment) was to bernard hopkins when the other fighter got served a plate of food and he looks at it and says "whats this?" and bernard replies "ïts your last meal".........................classic

He might have been hated or feared by a majority of white Americans but blacks and Latinos loved him. As a child we never hated him nor feared him. We saw right thru Ali's antics even though we were just children. Ali had a hard time keeping a straight face when he went around selling himself. Commentators loved him, one in particular was Howard Cosell. Howard Cosell exposed Ali, Howard was a great judge of character and he knew the real Ali better than anyone.
Commentators of Today despise Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Ali did great things in trying times.
The 1960's were a very racial decade and that part of Americas dark history should never be forgot lest history repeat itself. (Now white Americas racial hatred has shifted and the focus is on Mexicans and People of the Middle East)
Ali refused to go to war and with good reason.
Before we become too hung up on this subject of not wanting to go to Vietnam, let's not forget that Bill Clinton and George W. Bush both dodged the draft. Ali is no more a traitor than Clinton or Bush.
With regards to Fraize hating Ali, Joe Fraizer was getting visits by Ali and Ali would tell him he was just hyping the fight. Smokin Joe did not get it. That's his fault if he was too thick headed to see thru Ali's ploys.

Many people cast this guy as the bad guy,
unfairly as is the case with many villains of boxing.

That black english grandma who ruined that one fight by hitting the guy with her purse. Way to ruin a perfectly good fight. What a c*unt.

Also the chick from Million Dollar Baby. You know the one.

    Boxing Mom

In 1989, Steve McCarthy was hammering Tony Wilson in a boxing match when Wilson's mother climbed into the ring, came up behind McCarthy and started clubbing him on the head with one of her shoes.
