Benn v Watson 1 was not a good fight, they were 2 novices.I would have liked to have seen Robinson v Burley, but Robinson wanted to much money shame. He wanted over twice the amount to fight Burley than anybody else, wonder why.

scrap i disagree that was slugfest non stop action and benn couldnt of been that much of a novice because he beat barkley just year after and watson went 11 hard rounds with mccallum just after the benn fight this fight was called britians hagler vs hearns enuff said

I had a bit to do with the promotion, I thought the welter fight on the bill featuring the real beast Brown was far better Benn had to loose 6lb the morning of the fight. I always thought they rushed Micheal he was a novice when he boxed mike and should have been pulled after the 7th round he got a severe beating. Ben had not a clue until he had spent time with Vic Andretti, thats a fact, both were novices.
