Just dropped by to completely edit this post. Although what I've said is true, I have no right to drag others into this just to defend ourselves and I sincerely apologize. It's just that this Violent D has a knack of putting some people into a miserable spot and it was just an automatic defense mechanism on my part. C'mon man, it's just a very, very small minority who eat them. It's more worse in China, Hongkong, Thailand, Vietnam where they are really part of their traditional cuisine. I read in Korea, they even have dog farms for the restaurants.

I have asked Koreans before if they eat cat and dog and they have alway's been offended by that, if there are dog farms they had them very well when they are over here.

I'm pretty sure most of them in those places don't eat them as well, I hope, and it kinda embarasses the rest of us to be to be blanketly identified with those who do whenever this issue is raised. I can say many, though I won't say most, people here are animal lovers. As for me, I've adopted total of 10 cats when they were kittens left by some people on the corners of our street and have been in trouble ever since. I'm a pretty tough guy but always has a soft spot for the 'downtrodden' including animals.

Yup. To each his or her own...but I just can't swing eatin doggy...atleast...not by choice.

I mean...chasing one of them little yelpin fwocks down & bashin it in the noggin & then puttin it on a skewer & roastin it...

Maybe if I was starvin...or...whatever...if it was do or die...sure...I'd eat lassie...but not by choice.

I sadly have to go with the last option of I am lonely and will be on Saddo for new years. ......Two of the kids have the flu so me and the Mrs are stuck home.... .....And I did some research...CPS does frown on NyQuil as a seditive....So cant dope em all so they pass out...I dont see the big deal ...the dogs would be there to protect them....I think 400+ pounds of Fuey, Dixie, Elmo and Mr Crabs are more than adiquate security....If you can get past two Rott's and two pits I really dont think there is much more I can do....But the wife said NO!!!!!

since this became a thread about ASIAN cuisine, especially of the shady kind let me clarify some thangs bros. being of ASIAN descent but being born and raised in CHICAGO my common diets included: deep dish pizza, italian beefs, and cheezy fries, and cant forget white castle. ive never ate anything shady such as dogs or cats neither has anyone in my family, but i could see how a third world nation or an extremely poor family would not have a choice to in their home country.

in my opinion the best Asian Cuisine is as follows:

1) Japanese(Hibachi style DAMN thats grub, sushi etc)
2)Chinese(Mandarin, very tasty grub yo)
3)Thai(spicy, flavorful)

then later on comes Korean food. im not really a big fan of it. the tofu soup is pretty bomb, the bbq is pretty good too.

when you lived in and worked in BEVERLY HILLS like me, u can eat at some of the most AMAZING ASIAN FUSION spots in the world like CRUSTACEANS, Mr CHows. Mr. Chows was the one place i was SCARED that i didnt have enough money to pay for the meal man that place is expensive as F. when i was there this guy bumped into me and apologized. i turned around and it was ADAM SANDLER.
