In answer to the title, Hatton will not get much credit for beating Castillo no matter how he does it IMO. Already the 'Castillo is washed up' talk has started so no I seriously doubt it will change any opinions of his haters critics.

From the majority of the people that I've heard from, it sounded like he dominated Urango.Boxing ain't a beauty contest mate...Depends on how he beats him. Strangely, I was a big Hatton fan early on. I loved his work-rate and body attack and really thought he was quite good. I thought the Magee fight was hilarious. He just had the guy in the corner all night and busted up his body.

Do you think he could dominate Castillo like he did Kostya? I think Ricky will be as fired up for the fight as he was the KT fight, I also think Castillo shines in the big fights and because Castillo hardly ever takes a step back I think this will be one hell of a fight.Yeah, I hear you, Kel. It's difficult to say. Castillo is very well-rounded and has a ton of ring grit. That being said, Hatton has to be mindful of Castillo's power. The guy packs a helluva punch. I think if he makes it an inside fight and keeps his arms up he has a fighting chance. He's older and allot more experienced now. If he could actually beat Castillo, it would be a very significant milestone for him.Do you think he could dominate Castillo like he did Kostya? I think both guys know what they are gettin in to, which will probably make the fight even better. Hatton v. Castillo...
Castillo might be washed up. Honestly, this fight should have happened when Ricky moved up to 147. It was already obvious that Castillo could not make 135 anymore. IMO, he may have damaged himself by trying to get down there again.

As for Hatton, he is an A-/B+ fighter. He fought the right opponents in the beginning (even shadowing Kostya's foes for a while) and gained my respect when he made Tszyu QUIT in a fight that I thought was as close as the scorecards revealed.

Hatton will get my respect if he beats Castillo but its far from an easy fight should be good while it lasts 50/50 fight i think
im also interested in seeing wot Urango does in future to see if he was any good or just a big strong guy.
cos i got the feeling Mr Coladzo who made hatton look bad is far better fighter than he gets credit for if you get my point !!!

agreed fight was close after 11 rounds i think hatton was only 1 round ahead 2 at most kostya should of tried to of fought on
but who am i to say i wernt feeling what kostya was feeling maybe he was in agony and had nothing left
