FLOYD ISN'T THE REASON THIS FIGHT SOLD OUT IN 3 HOURS!!!!!!!!![]()
The fact that most of Oscar's fights don't sell out in only 3 hours means he's part of the reason.
sorry
Yeah....a lot of people want to see Floyd get his bitch ass knocked out, and people are only willing to shell out for tickets when there is a possibility of it actually happening.Originally Posted by skyler
I mean since Hatton knows he has a loyal following and can make a nice payday and sell out arenas fighting inferior opponents, that's what he seems content to be doing.. Didn't think it was too difficult to decipher.Originally Posted by ono
Well Hatton would actually WANT to fight Floyd.....Floyd doesn't like taking risks, he has NEVER in his career, not ONCE ever taken a risk.
He's never been the underdog
He's never been EVEN with another fighter
He's never fought ANY greats
He just never takes risks

Does nobody actually appreciate the true art of "BOXING". The idea is to hit and not get hit. Why would anyone get hit if they didn't have to? Love or hate his attitude, you have to appreciate his skill, and as a boxer his is the current P4P!Originally Posted by GOLDENBOY213
Anyone who knows anything about boxing knows about PBF. Most of the people I speak with in England who claim to be "boxing fans" know SFA. Explains why I'm here so much to actually have a proper discussion. Don't mind disagreeing points of view (hell that one of the main benefits of being a boxing fan), but at least have some idea what you are talking about!Originally Posted by Preme
he is the one who said "I could go over to England and sell more tickets than Ricky Hatton. I'm the top dog." - i don't even like ricky fucking hatton, i was just pointing out the mayweather is fuck all in the UK to the fans who don't want to spend time online reading up about us fighters... he talks like hes a superstar when world wide, he really isn't.Originally Posted by p4pking
bit of an arogant point of view there mate... a lot of my friends who like boxing are a lot older than me, the have seen and known about every great fighter over the last 20-50 years... fact is 'coz they may not have the time or interest in searching on the net for forums to read peoples views on US boxers doesn't make them any less of a fan - if boxing is shown on tv they (we) watch it, fact is how often do you ever hear of floyd in the sports news over here? or spoken about much? hardly everOriginally Posted by sanj16
Now add in the fact we watch the boxing in our local, so its even harder to here the very seldom time the mention his name in link with hatton
Didn't mean to come across as arogant, appologies, and I do appreciate that it is much more difficult to watch fights regularly here in the UK and that you have to go looking for boxing news. But to be a boxing fan and not have heard about someone who is arguably the greatest in the world right now is extreme. Like being a football fan and never having heard of Ronaldinho.Originally Posted by Preme
Alot of people payed money to see the same of a fighter named Muhammad Ali as well, as in case you weren't aware, him being disliked by many helped his ticket sales.Originally Posted by Lyle

If Oscar wasnt fighting then the revenue would be considerably lower and tickets would take longer to sell. A lot longer...
For Floyd to diss Hatton is futile, their paths are on different trajectories at the moment, and so Floyd should keep it shut...
