Ba ha ha ha ha ha!!!!
I can accept the fact that Bojado didn't come through.

Can you accept your 'has been'?

De-nile is NOT only river you know?

has-been means they were once something. Bojado is a never was. Which is a worse ghost on your mind becausre he never accomplished anything, and even if Zab "was" a hasbeen, he was on that was a champion at two weights and undisputed Welterweight champ as well. While Bojado...was nothing...

    I can live with that
God I love it when your around....
You stir me the right way....

OK... I can accpet Bojado never was.
Can you accept that Zab 'was' a champion and is a 'hasbeen'?

    No you can't....
De-nile is not only a river you know?
Don't get turned on by my sassiness Mick, I'm here for boxing business only.

And I already said I could live with that. You didn't read it?

then were done here onto the next thread. What shall it be JCC-Pernell, SMM-Collazo, Zab-Israel ? ?

I would root for Cotto if it happened but I would not be at easy until it's over. Judah is a good fighter with a lot of weapons that can be serious problems for Cotto. Again though, Cotto's body work is what puts him over the top.

I don't like Floyd, but I've never underestimated him,he's going to beat Oscar easily. I never under setimate fighters just because I dislike them, thats not my style. You're over rating Judah,he got KTFO by Tszyu and Cotto hits just as hard. He got shaken to his boots and ran from BALDOMIR and Margarito throws a TON more punches, harder punches with better placement.

Speed kills but a glass jaw, lack of heart, lack of focus, lack of determination and willingness to lay it on the line would get Zab destroyed by Cotto and mARGARITO(i'M adressing Starr here too).
Lets face it, Judah has no focus, dedication, chin, or defence, and has never faught a big puncher at 147, and got knocked the fuck out by a big puncher at 140. He has no chin, and no toughness. Cotto or Margarito would completly crush him inside 6. There's no question. I'd bet a testicle. Fuck it I'd bet both of them. But the fight will never happen if Judah is of sound mental fitness.

One thing that I haven't seen mentioned yet, is that Judah is a very attractive opponent for Cotto from a marketing and tickets perspective.
Cotto's adopted U.S. fighting base is NYC, and specifically Madison Square Garden.
I don't care how many times Judah has been beaten, he's from Brooklyn, and therefore a Cotto-Judah fight would create a ton of buzz in NYC.

You can't bet what you don't have.

I'll gurantee that Judah has more chin and toughness than anyone you know. He got off the mat to KO Tyron Mullet. He knocked Cory Spinks the fuk out in his hometown. He blasted out Cosme Rivera like he was nothing, the same Rivera who has been a top ten fighter and just went the distance with Joel Julio. He easily outboxed Mickey Ward. Judah is a tad bit better than you are givin him credit for.

    The fight goes like this:

Zab wins 3 out of the first 5 rounds, giving Cotto problems and stunning him at some point.

Round 5 on Cotto takes over because of all of the body shots he has landed to this point. Zab is wearing out physically and mentally. Zab then gets stopped in the late rounds.

Zab has a ton of talent but lacks the mental side of it to be able to stay fighting at the elite level. He couldnt stay focused beyound 5 rounds against PBF, and he was taking the fight to Floyd at that point. But then stopped doing what won him the first few rounds. I believe Cotto will take his will/heart/spirit away.

If Zab stays focused for all 12 rounds like the spinks rematch then he'll take cotto.

If not, Cotto will take him.

Anyone who picks Judah over Cotto is in need of psychological help.

Baldomir, not a noted puncher, had him out on his feet. Cotto is far too sharp and punches far too hard.

If that fight ever gets made, I'll be emptying the bank on Friday to bet on Cotto by KO, and I'll be there first thing Monday morning to put what I made in...

I agree, but by that logic Mayweather should have knocked him out right? Mayweather dealt him much more punishment then Baldomir and Zab didn't go down

Nah, I don't think Mayweather is a powerful guy anymore. Mayweather hasn't been a powerful fighter since he was 135, maybe even 130...

At 147 Baldomir hits harder than Mayweather, and Cotto hits harder than Baldomir.

By that reckoning it's an early night for Zab. If he fights Cotto I don't even think we'll get to see him dance, I think we'll see asleep...

I love Judah, but please don't put him or his performance against Mayweather in the same sentence as Castillo and his performance. Castillo made Floyd look beatable, Zab did not. Deal with it.

Mann im ever so anxious to have zab back..But zab needs to stay far..far..
FAAAAAARRR away from miguel cotto.. NOT the right fight for zab.. Im not saying that zab has as bad a chin as everyone clowns him for.. But it wouldnt take cotto's punches.. Lets not forget that zab was knocked loopy by tszyu and he could really bang..Its not a weak chin..Just not incredibly strong..
I'd like zab to go for cintron, collazo or margarito etc.. The good fights where the odds are good..
Cotto could probably spark most of the welterweights nowadays.. So i'd rather see that then anything else ..I'd love to see cotto - mosely.. A real big event that would be

Everyone knows I'm a Cotto fan and a Judah HATER. And yet, I'd have my share of worries about this one. A focused Cotto at 147 would beat Judah, IMO..... but there ARE some factors to consider:

Judah's a southpaw, and most right-handed fighters find southpaws uncomfortable. Cotto getting wobbled by Corley had a lot with Corley being a slick southpaw.

The little punk is fast. I don't think anybody doubts Judah's hand speed. This, combined with his southpaw stance, makes him more dangerous. Let's not forget, he was dominating Tszyu easily in the first round of their fight... before Kostya caught him with the sweetest, most beautiful (remember, I'm a Judah hater) right hand I've ever seen.

And if any of THAT doesn't work.... Judah can always resort to hitting Cotto directly on the cup and then combining that with a punch to the back of the head.
