Another one is "Requim for a Dream" Kinda weird but actually pretty good.
You know what movie I like and allot of people didn't care for it was Jim Careys "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" Another weird one but good.
I'm actually waiting to see "Number 23" I think that looks different and it will be wierd to see Jim Carey in that kind of a role.
"Spun" is another one of those weird movies but its decent I would rent it before you buy though because you might not enjoy it.
Man theres so many other good movies but I'm drawing a blank right now.
How is that Hooligans movie I have seen it so many times in the blockbuster but keep passing it up when I go there. What is it about?
Yeah I've always been curious about Fear and Loathing. I may have to pick that up

I am also interested in the movie Wonderland....saw it at the store and it looked good

Spun....well it's good for what it is I just can't stand meth heads.

I liked Trainspotting that was pretty good.

Ronin, Casino, Pulp Fiction, Once Were Warriors, God Father 1,2 & 3 (will count as one), Donnie Brasco, Scent of a Woman, JFK, A Bronx Tale, Raging Bull.

Goodfellas Is the best ever film based on a true story.

    Exorcist
    Poltergeist

Twin Peaks (the tv series or 'Fire Walk With me'): if anyone has ever seen that you understand it's crazy as shit
    Alien
    2001 Space Odessy
    The Twilight Zone

    Deer Hunter
    Apocalypse Now redux
    Full Metal Jacket
    Hamburger Hill

A note about Twin Peaks... season 2 finally comes to dvd in April. However, season 1 has been taken off store shelves. You can still get the fire come walk with me dvd.

Also, they are showing the Twin Peaks series on Chiller 257 Directv. Friday nights.

I never saw Twin Peaks. I heard it's supposed to be kind of a trippy/comedy/horror/drama/fantasy kind of everything though. I've seen a few David Lynch films...that guy is pretty far out. I loved "Mulholland Drive" it was like a surreal, dream-like kind of in and out of consciousness thing. There was also a great lesbian sex scene in it. One of the freakiest scenes I have ever seen in a movie is also in this movie.

Mulholland drive is really good if you haven't seen that.

    Also suggest:
Jacob's Ladder - excellent film, a post Vietnam psychological thriller. A good film to read about after you see it.

Deer Hunter was good, but I wouldn't buy it

LG already said "Heat" that movie is great, another good one by the same director (Michael Mann) is "Collateral". Not quite as good as heat imo, but still very good.

    Dasamm

CC Yeah Mulholland Drive kicks a**. I've watched that movie about 8 times since I bought the DVD. I rewatch it with anyone who has never seen it. I wrote down clues and eveything else...

Blue Velvet and Lost Highway are also awesome Lynch films. If you have not seen them check them out.

Everynight I send my girlfriend into "the vault" (that's what I call the room I keep the dvd's in) and get her to bring out 3 random dvd's for me to pick from and we watch one of them. The other night it was Jacob's Ladder... love that movie.
