floyds "dancing" was pretty stupid but it did seem kinda staged. i can just picture oscar and floyd in the back

I think PBF behind it all is scared sh@tless and his ego is hurting. He has never fought a fighter with a bigger public persona then himself. He was able to steal the spotlight for his entire career so far with all eyes on him and never on his opponent. For the first time when hes speaking people are looking at Oscars reactions and when Oscars speaking people are looking at Oscar.

But this gets back to my entire original point. You're saying he's not smart because you don't like what he says.
I'm saying just because you don't like what he says doesn't mean he's not smart.

So you think the way he acts at press conferences is irrational? Wow, you're just getting fooled completely then. This stuff is all staged. That's why they "stage" a multi-city press tour. If Floyd and DLH just got up there and didn't say anything controversial, no one would be paying attention.
Press conferences are all about doing stuff to get the fans riled up and to get them to buy the PPV. This stuff is all done for a specific reason.
Over the years, when you've seen fighters push and shove each other at press conferences, how many of those do you think were the result of genuine dislike for one another, and how many do you think were staged?

Ok I'll give you other examples then. In a recent interview with Jim rome I listened to, he was just studdering all over the place and answering questions without addressing the gist of the actual question. I just dont find him to be bright, I disagree with your position, but thats okay. He obviously doesn't have to be smart, as he's pretty well off in the ring. I jusst find it hard to respect him as a person, with his cocky over the top persona and seeming lack of brain cells through his actions and words.

he may be younger and faster, but he's definitely not stronger, he admitted that himself today in the press conference. He is not even close to being a stronger puncher than Oscar, and the ring smarts are about even, with Oscar having a slight edge due to experience and competition level. It will definitely not be a KO for Floyd, he can win the fight, but he wont knock Oscar out. The only one to do that was a big, physically superior Hopkins who also physically dominated the light heavyweight champ.

I don't like Floyd or Oscar. But I dislike Floyd a little less, and I feel he will win the fight come May 5th. He is in his prime, Oscar is a touch past his. I love Ricardo Mayorga, he is my favorite fighter, however Tito learned that fighting balls to the wall Mayorga and then fighting a defensive wizard can be a very tough chore. Now I know Oscar is not as one dimensional as Tito, and Floyd is not as sturdy and big as Winky. But the same thing could very well happen. I think Floyd will be extremely hard to hit and box his way to a UD.
