Yeah great get Oscar mad so Oscar can come straight at him and thats EXACTLY what Floyd wants him to do

i gotta agree with one thing............................
floyds "dancing" was pretty stupid but it did seem kinda staged. i can just picture oscar and floyd in the back
delahoya: "When im speaking spanish, start mocking me by salsa dancing. I will respond by gritting my teeth and looking at you like i wanna strangle you. That will get the latino community all fired up and make them willing to spend $99.95 for our fight come may 5th, and i will let you have 35% of the ppv revenue but when youre working for Golden Boy, you will be rich beyond your wildest dreams."
Mayweather: "If it makes dollars, it makes sense (drools at the thought of all that extra money)"
I think PBF behind it all is scared sh@tless and his ego is hurting. He has never fought a fighter with a bigger public persona then himself. He was able to steal the spotlight for his entire career so far with all eyes on him and never on his opponent. For the first time when hes speaking people are looking at Oscars reactions and when Oscars speaking people are looking at Oscar.
Psalm 144: Blessed be the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle
I don't think that they pre stage this stuff...If they did they would make sure all the morons shouting during the whole thing were kept quiet.
Do you think it could be a Black vs Chicano thing?
(I hope Chicano is the right word here, absolutely no offense intended if its not)
If so that adds an interesting dimension to the fight.
Maybe the PBF yap makes the underdog (odh) more marketable?
people wanting to see him kick PBF's butt?
Too bad that PBF probably can back up his yapp..
Oscar did look biggerand he's no slouch.
MY HOPE?? "when a good big man fights a good little man.the good little man gets a good big beating"
The question to be answered? is Oscar big enough? and Good enough?
If PBF dances and runs..he will be booed out of the ring, losing even if he wins!
I hope for a war! and I'll tip my hat to the winner of that Whoever it may be!
More like, "When a good big man fights a good little man, the good big man is one massive target for the good little man's pinpoint accuracy."Originally Posted by landmine950

Ali was an exeption rather than the rule, but Floyd just talks for no damn reason. Ali would mess with peoples heads, and do it in rhyme and in ways that exhibited thought and intelligence. He had what we call charisma, Floyd just makes you wanna stop listening, he's never impressed me, let alone enough to say he is the best ever...what a joke.Originally Posted by SweetPea
But this gets back to my entire original point. You're saying he's not smart because you don't like what he says.Originally Posted by bigjess31

Arrogance or cockiness has nothing to do with whether someone is smart or dumb.
When you listen to Floyd speak, he comes off as well-spoken. Whether you like what he says is besides the point. I'm simply arguing that there is no evidence to suggest that Floyd is not intelligent.
No he doesn't, because intelligent people don't act irrationally. All those things he's doing are irrational. Dancing around while someones talking is STUPID...and stupid people do stupid things. Floyd does not come off as well spoken, Oscar does. Heres my opinion...FLOYD IS NOT SMART. You can disagree, but your wrong.
So you think the way he acts at press conferences is irrational? Wow, you're just getting fooled completely then. This stuff is all staged. That's why they "stage" a multi-city press tour. If Floyd and DLH just got up there and didn't say anything controversial, no one would be paying attention.Originally Posted by bigjess31
Press conferences are all about doing stuff to get the fans riled up and to get them to buy the PPV. This stuff is all done for a specific reason.
Over the years, when you've seen fighters push and shove each other at press conferences, how many of those do you think were the result of genuine dislike for one another, and how many do you think were staged?
Floyd is about to tap that head, he's younger, quicker, smarter, stronger, and he is in his prime right now. Keep in mind i am not a mayweather fan(i personally thought zab whooped that ass up until the 6th or 7th round) anyway floyd will be victorious. KO
Ok I'll give you other examples then. In a recent interview with Jim rome I listened to, he was just studdering all over the place and answering questions without addressing the gist of the actual question. I just dont find him to be bright, I disagree with your position, but thats okay. He obviously doesn't have to be smart, as he's pretty well off in the ring. I jusst find it hard to respect him as a person, with his cocky over the top persona and seeming lack of brain cells through his actions and words.
Don't come to me looking for child support, I'm broke enough as it is.Originally Posted by SweetPjr.
he may be younger and faster, but he's definitely not stronger, he admitted that himself today in the press conference. He is not even close to being a stronger puncher than Oscar, and the ring smarts are about even, with Oscar having a slight edge due to experience and competition level. It will definitely not be a KO for Floyd, he can win the fight, but he wont knock Oscar out. The only one to do that was a big, physically superior Hopkins who also physically dominated the light heavyweight champ.Originally Posted by SweetPjr.
I don't like Floyd or Oscar. But I dislike Floyd a little less, and I feel he will win the fight come May 5th. He is in his prime, Oscar is a touch past his. I love Ricardo Mayorga, he is my favorite fighter, however Tito learned that fighting balls to the wall Mayorga and then fighting a defensive wizard can be a very tough chore. Now I know Oscar is not as one dimensional as Tito, and Floyd is not as sturdy and big as Winky. But the same thing could very well happen. I think Floyd will be extremely hard to hit and box his way to a UD.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
Floyd can continue to say what he wants.....Floyd is a great fighter but so is DLH...This is no Baldomir,,Gatti,,Corrales he is about to face...This will be PBF first and only ATG on his resume....
DLH has a mean streak in him...We saw it with Chavez...We saw it with Mayorga.....
A man with a mean streak and skills like DLH is a dangerous man,,,
VERY DANGEROUS!!!!!
Especially when it comes to his pride
