Its obviously too soon to tell cause Cotto hasn't fought an elite fighter yet but he does do some things better than Tito. I don't think he has the one punch power that Tito had but like you said his footwork probably is a bit better, better balance, and Tito was a bit of a headhunter compared to Cotto, Cotto's a more consistent body puncher.

tito gave oscar his first loss.( no matter what you think Tito got the win that night and says alot) he also beat vargas, mayorga, oba carr and joppy.

the best fighter cotto has fought off the top of my head is chop chop.
According to CompuBox punch analysis, De La Hoya landed 263 of 648 total punches, and Trinidad land 116 of 462. In terms of power punches, De La Hoya landed 120 of 277, and Trinidad 124 of 318.

    oscar definetly should of won
Completely disagree bro.. You should know better then to go by numbers..

So say oscar throws lots of punches during the first round and wins that round..

And in the second tito throws half or a third as many punches.. DOesnt land at such a good percentage but is much busyer and takes the round...

You know punch stat numbers cant be relied on..
The same arguemnt applies for alot of what toney has done.. Toney has won round on round on round throwing not a great deal of punches.. And the rounds which he looses is when he is sat on the ropes pciking the odd shot.. N his opponent can throw.. But doesnt mean he won the most rounds..
forgetting numbers though tito could of done no better than 6 rounds to 3 through first 9 should of been draw or win for oscar as for this thread cotto could very well be better but he hasnt fought level of opponents tito has so we must wait and see what happens in next 2 years

Here are my top PR fighters....

    1. Carlos Ortiz
    2. Wilfredo Gomez
    3. Felix Trinidad
    4. Wilfred Benitez

and the distance from 2nd to 1st is a pretty big one.... So yeah! Cotto still has a lot of road to cover...
