this was a pretty damn good fight. Mormeck looked great for seven rounds till fatigue set in. He handled Bell's power pretty well, but the guy gets hit too often. If he didn't get so tired he easily wins 9+ rounds

The ref was more than happy to push Bell well out of reach during the breaks. "Stand over here buddy the round will be over soon."

Bell blew his chance. Plain and simple.

CC for the RBR hitman...where were you watching it? I have no idea what MSG is, and naver heard of it, so couldn't tune in. Sounds like a tight one despite the heat, and Bell might deserve a rematch, but how does this affect David Haye having a tilt at the title, cause it has to be the mandatory, unless the board order a rematch right?

Anyhow...my picks for the weekend are, as usual, a fair click away from the mark, with my inspired KO wins for Bell (Rd 11), and Minto (Rd 10). Ah well, i don't want no Hatton t-shirt anyway...it won't fit me unless hatton wears it when he's 'bulking up' between fights.

MSG is a cable channel that (it stands for madison square garden and it tends to air mostly events held at MSG) i believe its only available in the tri-state area (NY jersey and pennsylvania) although im not sure if its even available outside of NY

Mormeck may have won more rounds, maybe. But I that was just a fuked way to win a world title, I dunno care. It was fuked. Bell should have gotten credit for at least one 10-8 round late in the fight, Mormeck was just in survival mode. Then those bitches ring the bell about 20 seconds early. Fukin French!!!

PS Sal, I live in Northern California, so yes MSG airs outside NY. Although the fight was on FOXBA, a fox sports channel.

The fight was a good fight, Mormeck was almost out on his feet for the 10, 11 and 12th rouds. Bell just couldn't land a solid punch....

Pons vs. Canclaux, IMO stole the show what a fight that was they traded punches like mad men.....
