Listening to the crowd during the Hamed-Barrera fight, judging by the noise, there seemed to be just as many, and probably more Barrera fans than UK Hamed fans. Or maybe it just seemed that way since Barrera was the one doing all the punching.

I would argue that Mexicans are the most loyal and dedicated fans that the sport of boxing has. And I'm not Mexican, so I'm not saying this because of any personal preference.

Well like any other country Mexico has it's bad parts about it most def. theres states in Mexico where electricity don't even run to them, they have no idea how a TV, phone work.... But thats not just Mexico theres families here the states like that and I can't say this for sure but I'm pretty sure theres families like this in UK, or Am I wrong? You know something the avg. pay rate/wage in Mexico for a pretty decent job is about $4.40 dlls. a day this is a decent job but you theres countries that are worst out there.... But thats getting into World Politics so let's just drop all that and get into boxing....

I just watched that for first time today damn what beat down Haugen shouldn't have opened that mouth of his Chavez was so angry he wouldn't even touch gloves in ring but damn what one sided beat down that was but i think Edwin Rosario beat down was just as bad.

I don't think rowdiness has anything to do with how great of a fan you are. The Japanese sit still and harldy make a whisper and they are great nation of fight fans.

Just last year I was asking anyone I saw of latin origin "De La Hoya or Mayorga?" Some said Mayorga most said De La Hoya but very few looked at me like I was insane. Alomst all the white Americans either ignored me or shrugged their shoulders as if to say, "who gives a rats ass."
