Answer: A Physician, trainers, boxer, judge, and timekeeper and seconds license fee is ten ($10.00) dollars; a Promoter license fee is one hundred ($100.00) dollars; Matchmaker and manager license fees are twenty-five ($25.00) dollars; a referee license fee is fifty ($50.00) dollars.

A national commission couldn't damage boxing beyond the point it is already at. I think it would improve boxing many times over. No more alphabet straps and bogus mandatories (hopefully), fighters who should not be fighting anymore not being allowed to fight. Cleaning up the rampant corruption which has plagued the sport damn near since its inception. Look at the BS that just occurred in Thailand, it cost a man his life. Yeah, national regulation for a sport, what a terrible idea...

helped many people become boxers
that never would have got the chance.
And they have got to enjoy the sport you
have only dreamed of doing. But if the National
commission passes all my friends and I mean all
of them will be kicked out of the
sport because they simply will not
be able to afford this right that they

having 20 different kids with 20 different
women and will die broke in a ditch

I know McCain wants to give benefits and pensions to pro boxers much like they are available to Baseball and Football and even Hockey players because they have unions.

Promoters STEAL....they don't fight, they don't make matches, they don't do much of anything.....they just take from fighters like the fucking middle men they are!!!!!

A serious, noncorrupted organization would be beneficial to EVERYONE who has a stake in boxing.......except the theiving promoters!!!!

And in my eyes the tv stations CAN be just as bad....but then again HBO and Showtime don't ignore injured fighters while they are in the ring like Don King has done in the past....he stood there and hyped up Nigel Benn after he all but killed Gerald McClellan.

Having a legit boxing organization would make it easier to have better and easier defined rules as well as better title shots than Johnson-Chavez which cause serious injury including death.

Will there be drawbacks to such an organization being brought to fruition? Yes, but those will be minimal in exchange for pensions for fighters and the insurance of their health.....you can disagree because you run some small time stuff but not everyone is cut out to be a PROFESSIONAL BOXER like not everyone is cut out for the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, or EPL......you understand my point of view now?
