At the very least it would be a great event if this fight happened over here...But it's never gonna happen.

At this point in his career Jones KNOWS the most likely scenario ends with him in the middle of the ring unconcious.

If you think that 34,999 came to watch Amir Khan then you must be deluded at best, and at worst....at worst I want some of those mind altering drugs you're on. Have a quick look at the number of people who are on the forum talking about Calzaghe, and then have a look how many are talking about Khan, and you'll see the difference in the size of their support bands. And then there's Enzo, I know a good few hundred made the trip down to see him fighting. And I know two who were at the bar for the whole of his fight!!! :

Even a 38 year old Jones is a step up for Calzaghe he has'nt fought nobody as good as Jones and after 43 fights thats abit of a poor show all Calzaghe will go down in history for is robbing the fight fans

Jones would get hurt. And JC would get no credit for taking this fight although if all he is after is $$$,then by all means this is the fight he should take.

Yea right considering Calzaghe has got hands like glass and hasn't koed anyone in long time i would actually favor any good boxer like Kessler even shot Roy Jones to maybe win because Calzaghe breaks his hands to easily and he wouldn't win against Kessler or even shot Jones with one hand.

jones has no chin. its gone tap him and you will knock him out. look what johnson did to him. knocked him spark out. Calzaghe has boxed world class fighters (with the exception of his last opponent who was an overhyped blown up middleweight who had no right challenging for any sort of title) with good chins. Jones chin is gone he struggles to meke 175. he has no chance to be strong at 168.

Well i do agree with some of this i think Calzaghe would stop Jones but you never know because Calzaghe hands are so fragile look at Manfredo fight hardly landed big punch and broke his hands in 3rd that wouldn't do him good against even shot Jones.

It will be the best option for the date Warren (the antichrist) has set...but its hardly ideal. I doubt Jones is serious anyways....It will be a mandatory and if it is then Im done with Calzaghe....I have only a high level of patience!!!

    Seriously.

Jones been ko'd twice in 54 fights down only 3 times does'nt really make his jaw glass i put the ko losses down to him coming down in weight to fast before first Tarver fight after Johnson ko loss he managed to go full 12 with Tarver the 3rd time yes Calzaghe has beaten Jeff Lacy as you all keep going on about but Lacy is nowhere near the fighter Jones is i'd pick Jones everyday of the week to beat Calzaghe even at 38 UD12

I think this whole Jones has glass chin has gone bit out of control he was koed by two picture perfect shots just like Lewis was and Lewis hasn't got glass chin he took bombs off Mason Tua and ect.
