As far as the survival ratio between random kids from Va Tech Vs. random kids from the corner of "Martin Luther King Blvd" and "Compton Ave..."

I think their survival boils down to the artless and motives of the gunman not on how quick they are to blitzkrieg his a**. It takes one bullet in the head of the first person to move for the majority of them to conform. Then if you "rush" the gunman you're doing it alone and only dying faster than you would if you played it safe.

I'd say your best chance of survival is to get the hell down and try your best to stay unnoticed. A lot of that is predetermined on were you were sitting etc.

Down to scrap and all those fuckers even had tapes of themselves robbing stores.

I've NEVER studied Criminology but I do know that in order to survive you don't need to be hard or have lived a rough life all you need to be is scared that your gonna die and you might not see your family one more day.
