They are still there. The only thing is, they won't get the recognition. Simply because all the promoters need the fighters to help them do there jobs, and all the bad decisions has left a bad taste for boxing for the "general" boxing fan. "I do my talking in the ring", still works for the true boxing fan, but not with the public. It seems every fight has to be billed as the Greatest fight ever, or a circus show. Plus, all the fighters who aren't getting a shot want figure the only way to be recognized is to be the next Ali. Plus, add in the MMA events.
