PBF power is underrated at these higherweights. every since he left 130 people act like he can't hit. DLH definetly respected PBF power.

Oscar kept coming forward since round 1, what respect? Trinidad respected Oscar's power (especially rounds 1 - 4 ). Oscar respected Trinidad's power. BUT FLOYD HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

I have to agree with Bilbo. I think Margarito and Williams both can give pbf a run for his money. Everyone wants to bag on Margarito because they say he hasn't fought anyone. It's hard to do that when everyone runs from you. If you think Margarito vs. pbf would be the same as pbf vs gatti then you're sadly mistaken. Floyd ran from that fight because he was pretty certain of what would happen. I guarantee you that Margarito's punches are significantly stronger than ODH and Carlos Baldomir. And as for Floyd being to quick, Margarito has the wingspan of a Dragon and could keep Floyd in his wheelhouse for the better part of the fight. Power and style are the reasons Floyd ran from this fight. It' s the reason Oscar wouldn't fight Margarito either. As for Paul Williams, I'm interested to see what he does against Margarito. If he wins, Floyd should fight him. Floyd always talks about how he's undefeated, if Williams wins, lets see these to undefeated fighters slug it out. Williams is another guy with a big wing span and good power. He and Floyd have a common opponent in Sharmba Mitchell. Floyd ko'd him in 6, Williams ko'd him in 4.

    He abandoned the jab.
If that doesn't tell you respect, what does?
If he didn't respect Floyd's power, he would've been unloading that awesome jab.
But he's weary of the counter right.
    That's respect.

The way to beat him is to find out if he's fragile. By that I mean rough him up, like Hatton fought Tszyu. Push, shove, run into him with your shoulders, hit his body, his arms, lean on him. When PBF goes to the ropes and in his shell ready to roll or block punches, lean on him and push him into the ropes, hit him in the body while their breaking, etc.

ODH said he was going to make it a rough fight, but that is really not his style. I think he had the gameplan to beat PBF, but it's not his style to fight that way so he didn't execute it well enough.

I just can't see how Floyd is fragile. I guess he crumbles every time someone hits him.

That's it! You found out the secret! The part of the training the cameras don't show, is Floyd rubbing Crisco all over himself like a sick pervert, so none of his opponents punches land flush!LOL.

Not at all, it's called "FATIGUE". Like i've said before Floyd wouldn't be able to KO a drunk Oscar. Unfortunately he spent too much energy in rounds 1 - 7. He still should have kept jabbing though until his arm turned blue!
    He abandoned the jab.

And that is hope if nothing else for Miguel. I want to see the fight in about 1.5 - 2 years time when Cotto has some more polish.
Listen because I'm only going to say this once.

Miguel Cotto stalks you in hopes to land one or two significant shots to eventually make you submit. Miguel never throws more then three punches at a time unless he has you pinned.

Oscar on the other hand stalked Floyd to get him on the ropes to land his flurries and shoeshines.

When Oscar went for one shot at the time 95 percent of the time he hit nothing but air.

And single shots at a time is what Miguel Cotto would use. he isn't going to throw shoeshine flurries against Floyd all night.
