At this point in time its safe to say that Hatton rules the roost at 140. Anybody moving up from 130 and even 135 would have a bad bad night against Hatton. Hattons only problem is if he himself decided to step up to 147 pounds. He's fine at 140, but at 147 he conceded too much height, reach, power and would get hit harder than ever before. Ive no issued with him staying at the weight that is the most ideal for him and taking on anyone who dares to take him on.Originally Posted by Kel
He has nothing to prove by going up to 147 and was silly to take on the fight with Collazo...He's fine doing what he's doing.
More nonsense friend...paquiao weighs in at 130 and comes to fights weight of 145.Originally Posted by miles
If pac fights at 140 he gon come to the fight about 150, he gonna carry all the power he has at 130 and has shown at 135, trust me pac is trouble for hatton all day friend
Hatton
Okay folks,
Hatton beats Pac @ 140
Pac beats Hatton @ 130
Nuff said
Class Dismissed!
But who will win if they meet @ 135?Originally Posted by Pacstraightleft

A nonsensical post. Pac has never fought above where he is now. So what if he fills up after the weigh in?? Most fighters do. Hatton would undoubtably be the bigger man with a lot of experience at his weight and the better skills IMO.Originally Posted by Salhadin
Its unlikely that Pac would ever venture up to 140 pounds. He's at his optimum weight where he is.
Hatton would outbox him and hurt him badly.
Why on earth would Hatton be fighting Pac at 130 pounds? Its not even remotely possible?!Originally Posted by Pacstraightleft

And as for 135 pounds? Again its not even a possibility. Hatton would never go down. It wouldnt be fair on his body.
It is possible.Originally Posted by miles
Have you seen Pac-Morales 3? Erik drained himself to go down 130 from 180.
Same thing what will happen with Ricky. He will be weak and uncomfortably slow if he meet Pac @ 130.
If you say Hatton will easily beat Pac @ 140.. I agree!, but Pac will also easily beat Hatton @ 130.
If Erik had serious issues getting to those lower weights as we know he did towards the end then he should have acted a little more wisely.Originally Posted by Pacstraightleft
Its silly to even consider a Hatton: Pac fight at 130 pounds because as I said before It is not even a consideration. Hatton will never fight at 130 pounds or even 135 pounds.
Okay, its not impossible but it is highly improbable....
yes and how exactly would hatton make 140. is lipo-suction allowed in the boxing rule book
Yes, Contact Vicky BelloOriginally Posted by craigdurnin

Agree?
No not at all. Most Fighters have their best performances at lower weight classes, obviously there's exceptions, but PBF, ODLH, Mosley, Tito, Ray Leonard, Duran Ray Robinson and a huuuuuuuuge list of the greats were at their best at lower weight classes.Originally Posted by Pacstraightleft
