Tubbs was fat and only had 2 weeks notice to get ready for Tyson and if i remember was having drug problems

Tucker was ok but he hadn't beaten anybody when he fought Tyson only Douglas who was ahead at the time but he quit other than giving good showing against Tyson and Lewis he never beat top class opponent

Berbick was never good he had been sparked out in first round before Tyson got to him and lost every round against Holmes

Spinks was ok at heavyweight but he was really great at Lightheavy this was good win for Mike but Spinks only got title getting gifts of an old tired out Holmes

Bruno was ok but slow a robotic and he was never world class he had good jab and good power but overall was never world class and he failed everytime he stepped up to world class

Williams was quite good boxer but he had very very weak chin and i mean badly weak.

yeah it wasnt a prime holmes but with a prime tyson i think the result would have been somewhat the same. and the same holmes did go on to win a further 20 odd fights after getting smashed by tyson so he wasnt all that washed up. and he also went on to give holyfield all kinds of problems in a very competative fight.

glass chin my arse mate. the shots that buster douglas KO'd him with would have knocked out most heavy weights (perhaps not holyfield who was a freak when it came to taking shots, and he took pain and punishment management lessons with his wife). buster was on the war path that night and tyson simply didnt train properly and was lazy, and the knock out was also a cumilation of many heavy shots that mike took all night from buster. mike showed a lot of heart in that fight and had far from a glass chin.

Tyson is clearly one of the most supreame heavyweights in his time. I loved his body movement from the Cus Ammato training. Teddy Atlas used to train him over in Catskill till he pulled a gun on Tyson and told him if you ever come near my sister again I will kill you. Teddy was a street rumbler. That scar on his face came from when he was a teenager in a knife fight. He has a big scar on his head too when it got split by a tire iron. Teddy is one of my hero's. He knows his boxing like no other. To bad he hurt himself. He could have been one of the great welter weights of all time. You never know.
