Lyle and Wadeb 21, you guys are nuts. The ending was crap IMO. Great way to reward the fans who have been patient and watching the series since the beginning! It was a cop out. A way to try and please everyone by letting them imagine their own ending. Thats gay. I wanted closure to the series, instead I got a Journey song and a fade to black ending. Stupid...

Would have been cool if they tried to make peace with Phil and had a big ass shoot out or Tony went to jail....but that's not the way the writers did things EVER in any season.

It was either end softly or go out with Tony getting massacred.....

I figured it one of two ways....either Tony leaves his family and the mob and hooks up with that chick in Vegas....or Tony is killed and at the end AJ avenges his death...but they turned AJ into a giant pussy

AJ was always a giant pussy. Every since he got skinny he turned from a trouble making pussy to just a total pussy. I would like to nail Meadow though, she's one FINE ASS Cuban/Italian.

Of course alot of people want a scareface style ending but thats just not what the shows about. Alot of people are convinced Tony got clipped but I don't see it, it just wasn't setup like a hit, the guy at the counter is supposed to look suspicious but if he was there to kill Tony why hang around. There were too many witnesses in the cafe and Tony was facing the door he'd see it coming. I was so on edge for that last 10 mins just waiting for something to happen brilliant TV

How does the liberal media play a part in how shatty of an ending that was and promoting alternate endings? Anyway I don't buy that many DVD's let alone 50$ DVD sets so I don't think I'll be buyin the Sopranos on DVD to see alternate endings.

But you wouldn't even rent it out of curiosity to see what other endings they had? I mean I know allot of people that are the same way as you are, and thought the the ending was a bunch of crap. but I bet allot them will end up either buying the last season on DVD or renting it just to see the other endings, and thats what they might want you to do. Its all about the money bro.
