I didn't think Wacko was a fan of Hatton ??
never really seen him take many shots at him if any... could be wrong.
Brewer was never a massive puncher , and was KOED by light punching Lonnie Beasley and floored numerous times by an old Herol Graham , and Calzaghe couldnt budge him , so much for Joes numerous claims that "they cant take my power lol" fact is hes wasted his talent in a nothing division , fighting joke fighter for the most part

How can you back up a claim that a fighter isn't a mssive puncher because he was kayod and dropped before? a fighter being put on his ass has sweet Fa to dow ith his own power.

I think Joe because of longevity. Ricky is a great fighter but when he's been world champ for 10 years and made 20-or-so defences let me know.

No doubt about it Hatton is number 1. People say Kosta Tszuyu (how the hell do you spell it anyway) and Castillo were has been fighters but I think Calzaghes only big win was over Jeff Lacy and to me he was well over hyped. Plus Hatton going over to America has to put him above Joe who only likes to fight in his own backyard. Maybe my opinion will change if Calzaghe beats Kessler!!

Well, I'm kinda with you but I reckon that, apart from some top fighters in 3 or 4 of his fights, Hatton's opponents apart from the big names have been pretty second rate. Anyhow, I agree the Calzaghe will cement his spot at number 1 if he beats Kessler, especially if it happens in Denmark.

Hatton is the best Britisg fighter, he's beat a higher calibre of fighters than Calzaghe.

    Castillo > Lacy
    Tzsyu > Bika
    Collazo > Manfredo

Well, if we're going for selecting names out of the hat, how about:

Washed-up Eubank > Washed up Castillo
    Lacy > Washed up Tzuyu
    Brewer > Urango
    Reid > Collazo

I would say Hatton coz he has fought the better opponents and is always willing to fight anyone anwhere.

Joe may be the better boxer but he has never proved it in the ring enough times.Always seems to have a reason/excuse why bigs fights dont seem to happen for him.

I'm on the fence on this one honestly.

I think Calzaghe is clearly the more gifted boxer, but Hatton shows more heart.

I want to see what the next step in both of their careers is before I make judgement.

If we get to see Calzaghe vs. Kessler and Hatton vs. Mayweather............

That should give us a better place to judge both fighters.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

The problem is both have very hot/cold moments. I think for now though Calzaghe has done more, is higher in the p4p list, and deserves it.
