Your attitude will just get you banned. How about loosening up and just talking boxing?!Originally Posted by legend30
You have been too trigger happy and not been concentrating on the boxing.
And thinking Gatti is better than Hatton with each at their best. Well, you are at least a trying comic.![]()

You are utterly bizarre. Why you are wasting your time doing this is beyond me. You can make a statement like "Gatti would AHEM KILL Hatton" but you have no ability to back it up whatsoever. You are pathetic and say whatever your fleeting mind will offer, and believe me, it offers little to anyone.Originally Posted by legend30

Gatti couldnt ever win his biggest fights. Hatton has done so.Originally Posted by legend30

You are as ignorant as they come. Hatton has beaten a few good names Kostya, Castillo and Maussa to name a few. Gatti has looked good in fights but not against the higher echelon.Originally Posted by legend30

Iiiiiiiiii dunno about Cotto. I'll say he's a bit slow for Mayweather. I can see Mayweather landing punches from different angles and moving out to ride his bycicle. KOing Cotto? Not sure but winning an easy decision, yeah.
I wonder if Hatton's brawling will frustrate Floyd.

English homo? Change your ways mate because I don't appreciate that and I'm sure no one else does.Originally Posted by legend30

At least Im lucid when I compose the vast majority of my posts. You can barely string together a couple of cohesive sentences let alone try to analyse a couple of boxers.God, I love that smilie!
I do not profess to be a tough guy. Your attitude did just react with me though.
Watching Mayweather fight is like watching the Morrade Hakkar fight vs Bernard Hopkins only floyd gets a little closer to his opponent at times. Other than that it's runaway runaway.
Ok, serious time:
floyd would runaway from Hatton like a little girl and Cotto (if his glass jaw held up) would have a giant purple face from taking all of the hits he would take whilst trying to get set to punch. floyd won't take a chance at fighting anyone he may lose to such as Mosley (too fast w/ a great chin) or Margarito (too tall w/ good power). Give it a couple of more years for those guys to age and he may still give it a shot. He is going to take the easy way out just like Lennox Lewis, retire before realizing he has to fight more than just "game" fighters. At least a boxer like Michael Spinks had the guts to step in the ring with a clearly better opponent before making his exit.

Go play your tough guy shit with someone else. Preferably someone who is stood in front of you so they can punch the fuck out of you.
Good daytoss pot
That's the key to me right there. If Hatton clinches like he usually does, it's going to prevent Mayweather from running as much and allow Hatton to get off his body shots and upper cuts. Floyd also likes to go to the ropes. Against guys like DLH and Castillo, they would just stand in front of him and wail away. Floyd would simply block or roll away from the punches. Hatton, though, is very good at angle punching, and would probably be able to penetrate his defense better than other fighters might. I think people have the wrong idea when they suggest it will take a quick guy like Mosely to beat Floyd. I think a relentless mauler who doesn't mind getting a little dirty and who does a good job finding angles with his punches will be the guy to do it (if it happens).Originally Posted by THE THIRD MAN
That said, I still expect a Floyd win, but he will have a tough go of it.
It's quite refreshing to see lucid boxing experts react to other's less coherent or cohesive analysts. But after watching the Tszyu Hatton fight all over again, I leave some space to doubt if Floyd can really punish Ricky to submission inside 12. At the MAN arena in Manchester, Ricky's rough house tactics had Tszyu tied and pretty much helpless for 11 rounds, I believe Ricky would be more at ease to pressure Floyd, close the distance and rough him up inside, clinch, wrestle and buy time so that he would last the distance to lose by not a wide points decision... It would be a very ugly fight though!Originally Posted by miles
