If you ask me, I believe the optimal weight for Tito was 154. At this weight I saw him faster and stronger than 147 and 160. Cash, I don't think is a need for Tito. Here in the island he is recognized for maintaining a healthy life with his family, no smoking, no drinking, vising orphan homes, etc.

i know he is a total legend in his home country, and well well known and respected all over the world, i just don't get why he wants to come back for:/

Really can't see there being anything for him to gain by coming back, he surly mustknow he can't win any respected title now?

I'm not sure about this. 160 is wide open right now. We have Taylor, Sturm and Abraham. Not easy fights for anybody but one not so impressive champion and two very beatable world title holders.

Even now, I have no doubt that Tito would destroy Abraham.

Sturms style could give Trinidad trouble but remember this guy was KOed by um...whats his name (sorry, drawing blank here) ex 154 champ. Imagine what Tito could do.

Taylor would have to seriously focus and be ready if he fights Tito because Tito's come forward style (similar to Pavlik) will give him loads of trouble if he can't impose his size and will on Trinidad. Taylor's youth and strength should allow him to overpower Trinidad but that won't be easy. Not against one of the hardest hitters to come in these divisions since Hearns.

Some of you guys are saying that Tito had no power at 160. Ask that to Joppy who has never before or again been knocked out. His three wins at 160 ended in Knockout. He never connected a solid hard shot against Wright or Hopkins.

I love Tito but the thing of him being at 160 or above(which is what he would have to be to fight RJJ) is that he would be small for the weight. He would have power but look at guys like Pavlik,Miranda, even Talyor, they would be so much bigger and naturally stronger than him!

And he is coming back for the $$$. If someone dangles a large amount in front of you,9 times out of 10,it will bring the "retired" fighter back and Tito is no exception.

That's so true. He must have seen how much money DLH made his last fight and thought..Man if I could make half of that I would be happy. It don't matter that he's already rich. It's just not easy to turn that down. I can just imagine Don King discussing the kind of numbers a Tito fight could bring to the table and Trinidad's mouth wattering with anticipation and possibility.

I hope his handlers are smart and go for someone other than RJJ. That is a big mistake. Heck I'd rather see him fight against Maywether. At 160 he would have a deacent shot IMO.

If he is insisting upon coming back,I'd prefer to see against someone like Oscar/PBF. RJJ is way too big.Guys like Pavlik are Taylor are way too big. I have seen the name of the winner of BHop/Winky being mentioned, that would be strange and stupid in equal measure!

CC back brother. Man,I love Tito but just thinking of him coming back, losing, and retiring would be bad! It would give more fuel to those who criticise him.
