I just saw the fight is taking place in Wales.
Why Am I not surprised.

Well you shouldn't be considering its going to be the biggest boxing venue in Europe ever. Or maybe he shouldn't be allowed hometown advantage and the fight out to be made in some carnival tent in shitsville, Louisiana, just to placate the haters?

The traffic there is terrible and its not built to support a sporting event of this caliber.

I confess, I have followed the saga with interest and think you're being dramatic and not actually reading what is published, the last one I remember was that they were awaiting contracts to fight in Denmark. I like Joe I think hes a skilled fighter.
I have issues with the qaulity of his opposition just like I have it with RJJ, Pryor and Zarate.
But as a fighter I think hes talented.
It just so happens that I've been following Kess before he was champ and hes been my guy since then and will be for this matchup. Shit! I was riding Kess off for not having the balls to take the fight to Joe got through some of my posts.
I was pissed at both soo no hating here. Just happy that it appears like the matchups happening and heres hoping Kess can bring his A game that night and do what he does best.

If they do like they do for the rugby events and close off some of the roads, the atmosphere in town should be absolutely mental. It's going to be like a rugby match atmosphere with the fans, and transport will be the last thing on my mind as I hit the pubs after a *hopefully* fantastic fight.

Is a shame it's not on terrestrial and it'll be interesting to see if Khan stays with ITV as their 'One off fighter' (i think he will).
I personally would be a bit F*cked off that it's not on terrestrial tv if i were Joe.
His biggest fight in 10 years and it's on PPV when he was fighting in front of (potentially) the whole of the UK in his last 4/5 fights.

How can that work if he's a FW fighter? Saturday must be the last Khan fight on ITV all the while he has the Setanta deal.

The plus side for Joe is if he gets battered hardly anyone will see it

ITV OWN Khan as i understand it mate not Warren (He's just a promoter and i can't see ITV wanting to let their pride and Joy of the ratings f8ck off elsewhere-could be wrong but Khan is massive in terms of Marketing and he's a British born Muslim who proudly wears the Union Jack on his shorts,HUGE appeal in this day and age) I'm Thinking he may be allowed to fight for ITV still while being promoted by Frank

Im pretty certain Kahn is on Sports Networks books not ITV, ITV would have to go through Mr Warren to get Kahn on ITV, i think Itv coverage has been pretty shit to be honest all the good fights on the card are never shown.
