Oscar v. Wlad. If you really want the money, you should really get the pain.

He won't make 147lb again, he's dreaming if he thinks he can make that weight comfortably.
He is 35 years old early next year and it's 154 for him or nothing, he won't fight again at 160.
Forrest is already there at 154 and he has a belt! Winky could make 154 easy so IMO these are the only two fights open to him.

Id say Judah but hes a tough sell right now cause he hasnt won a fight in a couple of years, so Judahs out. Vernon Forrest would make for a good fight but I cant see that happening at Welterweight. I guess there isnt a good fight out there for him unless Hatton pulls off a huge upset over Floyd.

There's 3 younger guys where your not sure what the hell happens in the fights, and they are perfect measuring sticks, big enough names to sell and all hungry for the big money fights.
I don't see why some of these people want Oscar to fight Spinks it would be boring fight and Spinks would make Oscar look bad he has the style to do so if i was Oscar that would be the least fight i would be thinking of.
If it's a Spinks fight or retirement I'd take the Spinks fight. I ain't gotta pay to see it and I'd like to see what would happen, why wouldn't you want it to happen over no fight at all?

For purely selfish reasons I'd hate Oscar to fight Vernon Forrest becuase I think Oscar would be handed his ass.

Dan you must be like me.......I was really impressed with Forrest against Baldo. He looks like he is really back.

Absolutley it was like a rebirth for Vernon Forrest, he looked like the p4p material that took Mosley to school in that fight. Obviously Baldomir ain't the best but compared to his struggle with Quartey he was like a new fighter.

I would not want to see this. It would be a replay of De la Hoya - Sturm with Oscar losing more clearly this time.

Winky has been on the losing side of far too many decisions these days.....I would hate for another dec. to get taken from him. Fortunately, I don't think Oscar would pose near the fight that B-Hop did. Without his jab, Oscar would be disposed of easier than Quartey was.

Oscar does not want to fight Winky. Firstly,Oscar wants to come back to 147,seCondly,it's a bad styles match up and thirdly, who would really want to see that fight? I don't see demand being high for it.

    Oscar v a kangaroo anyone?

come one we all seen them on cartoons and they look cool as fuck, im sure rayes can make a par of gloves for one and shit if anyone can pull it off it's de la hoya... + he wouldn't have to pay it anything, it wouldn't have a promoter to want money either and he would prolly break all PPV records doing by doing it...

apart from the couple of quid he would have to back hand the RSPCA de la hoya would be rolling in it!

Im sayin though, can he realistically make 147 these days? He's old, innactive and has issues stamina. Draining himself to make weight wouldn't do any favours.
