2)He did win the first six: Even if every round was close he did win the first six against a very slick boxer, not bad seein as he was'nt ready.

3)Its in the memory: That fight is in the past, stored now in his mind and converted to "expierience," they were the hardest 12 rds. Hatton ever went against the best "boxer," he ever faced so far. Hopefully this will stand to him in the future and god knows he will be desperate not to let the same thing happen again.
He did go down in the 12th. I have no idea why that wasnt called a knockdown. But you are right, hatton did take a trailer load of punches! I had Collazo winning by 2. But hatton did show a lot of heart.

From what I remember the judges scores were lopsided in favor of hatton. So even though it was a close fight I can see why JB called it a robbery.

I hate going by punchstats though if you're scoring a fight..They can sometimes make a fighter look more dominant than they were..because they can change back and forth over the course of a 12 round fight. E.G. Letterman and Lampley made out because Castillo had landed and thrown more punches than Mayweather in their 1st fight Castillo was robbed. Not so because I bet if you looked at the punchstats at around round 5 + 6 I bet you Mayweather was well ahead on the punchstats at that point (I felt he easily won the first 5). So it's not a good indicator as to how the fight went 'round by round'.

Incidently those punchstats above were quite similar to the JLC vs PBF fight. Collazo only beat Hatton in Jabs. Same as Mayweather who beat Castillo only in the jabs department. 2 Close fights..One of those fights where it depends what you like.

That fight was the 1st time I saw Hatton fight and I was impressed by the heart he showed in the 12th round. It was a while ago, but I recall thinking that the 12th round could have been easily scored 10-8 for Collazo - that was as much a KD as the one Hatton scored in the 1st round. Even without a KD I could see it being called a 10-8 round - Collazo was fucking him up badly and Hatton didn't do a thing but survive.
I had Collazo winning by 2 - 3 rounds I think; I gave him the nod in many of the closely contested middle rounds of the fight due to his more accurate, clean, and more damaging punching. Collazo also clearly won the 10th and 12th rounds. I was cheering for Hatton, but he lost that fight. It was not an out and out robbery however.

Im massive Mayweather fan but i had him losing the first Castillo fight by 1 point however he easily won the rematch and Hatton should of rematched Collazo for certain the champion Collazo deserved a chance to win his belt back because the fight was so controversial the rematch should of been made asap and Hatton promised Collazo a rematch and didn't give him it thats only thing i didn't like about Hatton atleast when Mayweather won controversial decision he rematch Castillo and beat him easily in the rematch something Hatton didn't do and that left question marks.

It is always hard to be a fan of a fighter and really have an un-biased opinion, if i were a hatton fan i could come up with a ton of reasons why he should win, same but maybe a little easier if i'm a pbf fan....it's hard to root against hatton in this one i just don't think he has what it takes to win in dec. Either way the collazo fight was close, it was one of those fights where i collazo winning but wasn't upset or shocked the judges didn't see it that way, isn't is funny how different a fight can be after watching it a little bit down the road after the live event !!

well put man, I actually had hatton winning by 1 point 6 rounds to 6 even, but that knockdown in the first clinched it.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I was exact same as Killersheep.
My only real issue was, the rounds hatton won were the early one and were close, Collazo won his rounds big.
