I'll bet 10 CC's on Taylor if anyone wants to take me up.
Although I'd give Kelly the edge in the fight, I want Taylor to win. Betting with my heart, and i'm okay with it![]()
I'll take you up on it RP33Originally Posted by RP33

So im going for Taylor win and your going for Pavlik to win
Kelly Pavlik is a lot better than some folk give him credit for. His Miranda outing was awesome, and he gave JT a lesson last time out. His only downfall is his chin, having said that, when you fight boxers like Taylor and Miranda, you expect to get tagged lots.
Pavlik, again next time out, easy.
Sounds good Legion.. it's a deal.Originally Posted by LEGION
I'd love to see Taylor avenge this loss.. thing is, even with all of that wasted motion supposedly tiring him out last fight, i don't think he lost cause he was tiring. He just got caught, and I am real interested to see how he approaches Pavlik in this rematch.
I don't think he has the slickness to avoid Pavlik and box himself to a decision for 12 rounds, so i think he needs to go for the KO and just try to catch him like he caught Pav in round 2 of the first fight.
Pav's pressure will make it VERY hard for Jermain to last 12 rounds.. the way to beat a pressure fighter like him will be to knock him out.. just like Edison Miranda got knocked out, and just like Ricky Hatton just did.

It will be interesting to see how he approaches this fight. All the nervousness he brings in with him; coupled with the tendency to not know how to control a fight and where it goes, will make it hard to beat Kelly.
JT can never seem to decide where he wants to take the fight, and goes from the center to the ropes, from banging to boxing, and gets panicky at times, at least IMO. Kelly might not be the best boxer, but he is relentless in his attack and doesn't panick, and those things plus his size, output, and power wear guys down.
JT IMO would do well to try and make this an inside fight and go to Pavlik's body, which I can't see taking a sustained attack. If he stays out he may win rounds on points like last time, but eventually he'll tire and will get caught out in the open like the last fight, then get buried in the corner. He needs to get and stay close to Pavlik and work the body, IMO anyways.
I am going to take a piece of that...
Taylor by dec...
What is exactly at stake and is it with you ICB or is this just a thread where people are stating they want to bet and we pick and choose who bets who?
Hidden Content IN CASE THEY ALL FORGOT WHAT REAL HEAVYWEIGHT POWER WAS!!!
I wonder what will be going through Taylor's mind when he stares across the ring and notices Pavlik staring back at him again just before the opening bell. Will he suffer a breakdown if he is not able to hurt Pavlik again? How will he react when Pavlik drills him with a hard right hand? Will he panic?
He will carry some mental scars from the first fight into the rematch. Does he go after Pavlik and possibly get spent early? Should he try a different approach in an attempt to maintain endurance?
I cannot see this fight ending in anything but a W for Pavlik. Taylor should have tried a warmup fight or two, just to build confidence and try different things. Instead he tries the no mans land approach![]()
