Thats the spirit Game i know your big Barrera fan like me i have faith in my boy Barrera to do a number on Pac.
Yup, Barreras da man ! and Pacs guna get raped !!!

Me , you and miles have always said Barrera wins this fight so we'll be celebrating next week .
Not long to wait now.....Its gonna a quality fight.

My picks have been in tune for a good while now and this will be the icing on the cake!
Whilst your picks have been better old man, your using your heart with this one and not your head. I can't wait for this fight,my fellow saddoneans have helped to make it far more exciting!!

I thought Barrera beat Marquez, so in my own way I really am still using my head. But we have already been there before so lets not go there again!

This fight is one of the 3 big fights that I am truly excited about this year. Others are quality matchups but the big 3 involve my favourite fighters so of course there is a bit of heart in there too.

Barrera can and will pull this off....dont even try to put the creepers on me ElGamo!!!

And We have had a few debates concerning MAB!!
CC back bro,we've had debates but both of us have made valid points for sure.BTW,PM me on how the trip went man,I want to know!! Seriously,I think MAB will do well early on but 2 main things will let him down:

Manny's speed and pressure and MAB's stamina. I don't think he can fight 3 full minutes of every round, which we all know Manny can and will do. I think this fight will be similar to the second Morales fight but MAB won't do as well as Erik.

Oh and 1 other important factor is obviously Manny is going to be the agressor, and to keep him off,you need some power,as JMM showed and Morales too in their first fight. I don't think MAB possesses the power to keep Pacman honest. We'll see.

I hope it's a great fight, both fighters are awesome.I'll be honest,I was not excited about it at first but the banter here has rekindled a passion for this fight.
So you think this fight is going to be Pac-EM 2? Toe to toe through out late rounds?

Seriously Gamo, who do you see winning this fight? Can you make a final/solid prediction now?

Like the second Morales fight in the sense that MAB will start off well, move and box but Manny will bang to the body, catch him and stop him in the 9th round. I'm choosing Manny for sure,I even have SIG bets with Preme and Sugar SHaw so I'm pretty confident!
btw gunna have to tell me how the hell that one works to cheers
Hey if he tells you how that works perhaps you can tell the rest of us how 20 defences and 2 mandatories work ?

If Barrera can box well and not sustain damage in the first six rounds...he will be in great position to pull the upset. Pac will try and pressure and hurt him from the onset of the fight. Marco has to use all his skill and smarts to really maintain his energy for the latter part of the fight. If this fight is close after 6 or 7...i gotta go with the fighter with the better skill, smarts, and ability to adapt. Manny, for all of his supposed improvements, still fights primarily one way....coming forward to knock his opponent out. If he cannot put Barrera away early...i think he will get frustrated and not be able to adapt his fighting style. On the flip side...Marco's stamina will be the big question. He showed in the Marquez fight that he is still razor sharp and plenty fast (and strong) on his punches. It's his stamina against a pressure fighter that will be the big test. Can he deal with the pressure early and have enough left in the tank for the second part of the fight? Should be a great fight between two great warriors. If Marco can pull of this upset...he is without a doubt in my opinion one of the top three Mexican fighters in the history of the sport.

I remember when Barrera beat Naz, that depth of focus is exactly what is required for this fight. If Barrera can fight his own fight and not get into a war he might just pull this off.

Add me to the list, I've always been a Barrera advocate, aside from Junior Jones he never loses a rematch.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

I would respect Barrera a lot, but i know for a fact there is a lot more to this fight to MAB than more others. Pride and revenge and this is going to be a factor that if marco can control, i can honestly seem him winning the fight. Mannys got the advantage of winning the first one and my god is he good, i think pacman will be gunning to knock him out again, but he should bear in mind this is going to be a very, very hard fight. I hope hes trained hard for it because Barrera is going to be ready for this.

Barrera been fading ever since his last fight with pac. But man...he's one tuff as biatch, tougher than morales, if he pulls an upset I wouldn't be surprised. This fight should still be more competitve than pac vs morales 3

I just saw the MAB-Hamed replays on HBO on Demand and compared that on MAB when faced PAC obviously MAB was not ready that night. Honestly I'm really nervous right now for PAC.

Now they are saying Pac will beat Barrera but I am more certain of a Barrera win than ive ever been b4 . This 1 is defo a Barrera win . I seem to be able to see what others cant . Which is , Barrera is in a class of his own when he has something to prove

very true. Barrera should fight using his style and not engage in too much brawl with Pacquaio. He should know this. He already felt how fast and strong pacquaio is.

Anyway, I'm predicting an early knock out on this fight.

clown you say miles? face it. the common prediction we have here is Barrera wins by UD if it goes the distance and Pacquaio wins by KO early, say until 6 rounds. careful mate.

i would have to disagree with you on this one. the same thing happend in pac-morales II where pac was having a hard time with morales from round 1 to 5. but then he adjusted and adapted to the fight. i thought that after round 5 he will get frustrated. but he slowly adjusted and eventually knocked morales out. and dont say that morales was shot when they fought. you can never count anybody out until the fight is over. anything can happen. and pls, dont think that pac is that one dimensional even though he only fights going forward. and guess what, none of the fighters he fought was able to make him back up. it will be a good fight.. so just hang on and we will see what happens.

This is a tall order but boxing and moving side to side will frustrate the Pac man and there is one more thing that is difficult to use on a lefty and that is a jab. Patience and a jab and Pac won't see the right but he is strong but he tends to be erratic. I don't expect MAB to knock him out but a hard decision will do it for me. If MAB pulls it off and that is the hard part, it's back to Marquez and if MAB still has his marbles after that then retire because it will be over. This all depends on whther MAB has any youth left in his system. No matter what I am still a fan

Josef, with all due respect...the reason why Morales lost the second and third fight was not because Pac adjusted...it was because Erik was a shot fighter by then. I don't say that to discount Pac in anyway. But Morales was almost done by the second fight and he was completely a shell of himself by the third fight. He simply had nothing left in the tank by that point (making weight, countelss wars, etc.). I will give Pac credit for finishing him off...but he simply beat a fighter who physically could no longer compete. I do think Pac is one dimensional...granted it's a hella of a dimension. He loves to lunge/jump in with flurries. His balance when he does this is shaky, but he gets away with it because of his speed. Eric backed him up plenty of times in their first fight and JMM did as well once he recovered from the early knockdowns. Pac depends tremendously on his athleticism and pressure. He is not a fighter who can change up his style though. I agree with you that it will be a very good fight. Marco is deservedly the underdog and he will have to have one of the best fights of his career to have a chance. If Manny can repeat his performance from their first fight...my hats off to him. But Barrera is such an intelligent and highly skilled fighter that i would never bet against him.
