Nobody is saying that Mora can beat Calzaghe and Kessler(by stoppage nonetheless)

because he beat Jermain Taylor who hasn't looked worse in his last few fights and looked some of the best he ever has against Pavlik.

Nobody really rates Mora that high anyway so how is he overrated?

Pavlik is a good fighter. But he is one of the most overrated now because he beat Jermain Taylor.
I would say it has a lot more to do with the fact that he's blown out almost all of his opponents by knockout & the fact that he destroyed game opposition like McKart, Miranda, & Taylor to name a few.

Well, I don't know... Mora does look a little bit on the gay side.
He does have that "I star in many of the rent to own copies of CuteMick's gay porn collection." vibe going on don't he.

He could even have his own starring role with a name like "the Latin Snake".

Not that I follow gay porn
. Maybe you should PM CuteMick & ask him.
I found the first bold sentence funny as F***. The second I found hard to believe
Bah! Your'e still sore over the fact that I booted you from that first slumber party aren't you?

Or should I say..."Your'e still sore over the fact that I booted fisted you from at that first slumber party aren't you?"

Oh gawd...now that was wrong...I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
I left on my own. When I saw the fools bend you over the table, line up and started putting on there latex gloves. I was out of there. Some of them fools were putting on triple pairs.

Well Pavlik is impressive, not unbeatable, but impressive, and happens to be the Middleweight Champ, while Mora is the Middleweight Chump. Unlike Mora, Pavlik didn't agree to a fight with Taylor and then try to dictate the terms of the fight, then pull out because he didn't like how things were working. No, Mora isn't more overrated than Pavlik, as for me personally I don't even rate Mora at all.

Neither of them are the caliber of Calzaghe or Kessler. Which is why I said overrated when people say he would knockout Kessler and Calzaghe.

I don't mean overrated in a diss form but Pavlik isnt gonna knock out Calzaghe or Kessler

Agreed on the not unbeatable part.

I think that Pavlik's got a lot of flaws. He's open to shots & refuses to utilize his defense & focuses on head hunting too much. One of the main issues that I have outside of that is that he's got "Mayora Syndrome"...by that I mean he likes to taste his opponents power & sticks his chin out.

He did it against Zuniga, Miranda, Taylor, & McKart...good chin or not...that shit aint smart...no matter how good our chin is.

Total misunderstanding on my part. I thought that you were saying that Pavlik was overratted off of the Taylor win in general, like most everyone else is. I do agree that he most likely would not TKO Kessler or Calzaghe but if he moves up to 168lbs (which I am against) & moves up the ladder by defeating a couple of contenders convincingly...I might be all for him facing Kessler...but not Calzaghe.

"He did it against Zuniga, Miranda, Taylor, & McKart...good chin or not...that S*** aint smart...no matter how good our chin is."

Exactly!! That behavior will usually result in a much shortened career. Here is hoping the Taylor fight taught him a lesson. If he smartens up, he has the natural skillset that could eventually be dominating at 168 and 175 also. He is tall with a long reach, so the face first method is not necessary.

    But it is exciting! heheeh

Agreed on the fact that it will result in a short career...that & the fact that you caught it during the Taylor fight...most people didn't. What's odd is that it happened during the 6 shots that dropped him in the second. Taylor had hit Kelly twice already & stunned him & Pavlik was still talkin & sticking him chin out. Maybe it was shock...maybe not...but I hope to hell that he's learned lesson...but I doubt it.

He has to know in his heart how close he was to losing. If he will not try to adjust himself, maybe his dad and trainer can pound it into him. Lets hope he does adjust, as he is a refreshing new face to have around. A good ambassador for the sport. Humble and exciting fighter.

Oh and if you get a chance, check out my post in the sharing forum. let me know what you think.

As a fighter...Mora deserves more respect, huh?

Not really. To me, Mora is like the son you have who you think will grow up to be a lawyer but turns out to be a drug dealer. He is just a huge disappointment to me. After he won the Contender I expected him to do big things and yet he has down next to nothing. I mean who has a 7 year boxing career and hasn't even been in a scheduled 12 rounder? And he isn't even moving up competition wise, he's pretty close to moving backwards. I know that he was suppose to fight Ouma but then the card fell apart, but are you telling me that Ayala was the highest level of competition you could find on short notice? It just seems like he is too comfortable beating up on low level fighters, while calling out big names. Let me know when he is ready to swim in the big boy side of the pool, then he can get some respect. For now, it seems he is content to stay in the 4 feet deep water with one of those inflatable turtles you put around your waist.

Well to defend I'd say he was preparing for someone Ouma who is a completely different style of anyone else you could face and Ayala isnt even close to that so Mora probably had to adjust a lot.

When Ouma and Mora face each other all the questions will be answered good or bad

It's nerve wracking for me also; but like I've said before, I think Kelly's outlook is something like" Until I lose I'm not changing". I really think he believes he can take the best puncher's punch out there, and won't change until something drastic happens. He's got a decent defense, basically blocking alot of punches and all the reach helps him avoid punches also, but it will catch up to him sooner or later.

Agreed...but I still hate HATE hate his defense.

I think that it will be his downfall & I worry about it as much as I do him stickin' out his chin...but the chin thing he can correct pretty easily...as far as his defense goes...you can't teach an old doggy new tricks.

He's been set in his ways for so long...I don't see how he can change that this late in the game.
