Delahoya doesnt. he's never been an undisputed champion at any weight. all this multi weight champ stuff is S***. if you aint unified or universally recognised as number one, you can win all the jarg arsed titles you want and it dont mean S***.
Thats a stupid statement. DLH is one of the first boxers I would add. Not only has he had a great career, winning titles at 6 different weights, something alot of fighters struggle to do, his company has given us fights to produce one of the best years of boxing I've seen. By your logic, Floyd Mayweather doesn't deserve to be in the HOF when he retires.

Fingers crossed that will happen, but Floyd is one of the most flawless fighters I've ever seen. Can't stand the twat as a person though. Anyways, I see someone made the point about this being a Corrales thread, so I'll end this and get back to the topic at hand.

So the whole slag on ODLH was ultimately PBF hatin, wasn't it?
Personally I am much more impressed by someone that jumps weightclasses than one that unifies. Although I love to see unification bouts
seeing someone beat a high caliber boxer 5 weightclasses over where they started, how can you not be impressed by that?

Getting back to the topic though, I vote for Chico to get into the HOF, not because of his victories, but because of the sheer excitement he brought to the sport Gatti also deserves to be there IMO, these all heart warriors are great for the image of boxing.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Sorry Daxx I wholeheartedly disagree, Diego's problem was he couldnt make his ideal weight anymore, he was like a man without a country so to say. He couldnt carry his power and chin up to 140-147. In his fight with Casamayor he was so weight drained and gaunt, he looked like a skeleton I mean to say his desire was gone is a bit ludicrous seeing he fought one of the biggest and top Welters in Clottey. I remember feeling sad and on the edge of my couch watching the tail of the tape and seeing Clottey rehydrated up to about 160+ and Diego stood toe to toe with Clottey all nite even though he hit Joshua with his best and couldnt even put a dent in him. But he fought straight ahead and brave. Very few posses the heart and ballz that Chico had. Even if the Hall snubs him to me he is already imortalized as a Fukin legend... I will give you a few names of fighters that heart and courage come around once in a lifetime and I'm happy to have seen them.

    Evander Holyfield
    Arturo Gatti
    Diego Coralles
    40 year old George Foreman

Who did 40 year old Foreman beat that he should go into the Hall for the 2nd phase of his career? Heart, shmart, other than Michael Moorer he didn't beat anybody. And he failed upward to get the title shot.
    Oops

I said heart! George had the heart and dertrmination to hag in there and constanly push forward, his chin was better and never tasted the canvas despite being clobbered by men that were almost half his age.

Even tho he's a Gold medal adorned Olympian
    So is audrey harrison.
You've taken my point out of context. Oscar won a gold medal..then went on to fight some huge names and forge a highly succesful career for himself climbing numerous weights.
Is climbing weights not considerably more admirable than collecting alphabet titles, you yourself so openly despise.

I see you used the word boxed. he lost his big fights to trinadad, twice to mosely, hopkins and mayweather. theres champions in 3 weight divisions that beat him. he unified some titles but was never an undisputed champ.
I didn use the word "boxed."
And i realise he lost to all of the above...and i would go as far as to add Sturm to the list but that doesn't alter my stance on the subject. The loss against Trinidad is highly debatable, Hopkins is a bonafide legend at much higher weights, Mosley is the great enigma of our generation....I don't get your logic
