Chambers is a crafty little fellow no question about that, Eddie chambers does well with guys that 1- 2 it and done., .the problem he will have with Sasha is that Povetkin puts the punches together in 4/5/6 combinations this allows the first few punches to bring down the guard and the remainder to hit the mark. , also Povetkin has very good foot positioning , strong legs. Sasha is always ready to punch. I am really impressed with this Povetkin, The Russian has developed nicely over the years, would make a great champion, he has the right mindset ,skill , and thrill factor. Team Povetkin has done a very good job . I wish him the best !

I would be very surprised if Eddie wins this match. I just see him out hassled, and out punched. waits around for things to happen to him.

Ahh you may be right, perhaps in Russia Sasha is short for Alexander like in the UK Bill is short for William

This is an extremely interesting matchup and between two unbeaten heavyweight prospects for a shot at Wladimir Klitschko's IBF title.

Size - Povetkin
Speed - Chambers
Power - Povetkin
Defense - Chambers
Chin - unknown but Chambers can take a shot
Stamina - push

I think Povetkin has all the tools to dismantle Chambers the way Wlad beat Chris Byrd....using the jab keeping distance and throwing the right cross.

Chambers like Byrd is not a runner but a duck and cover defensive fighter he usually throws in flurries and if he's able to get Povetkin's timing down he COULD end up schooling him by staying in close throwing flurries and tying up.

Povetkin will be able to hurt Chambers but I am not so sure of Eddie hurting Povetkin.

This fight is this weekend, I am very excited about it though I doubt either fighter would have success vs Wladimir Klitschko

Chambers struggled against Hawkins and Brock, both who are good but not at Povetkins level. His biggest avantage is experience in the pros but Povetkins been in with some good fighters and has a good amateur background too. I think Povetkin stopk him late.

I think it will be Povetkin. Alex is a very smart fighter and I think that he will simply wear down Chambers and stop him late. Chambers (who I like to call the heavyweight version of Winky Wright because he guards his chin great, he's crafty, but he doesn't have power) will fare well for a while but I can't see him winning the fight.

Winner becomes No1 contender for IBF belt so if when Povetkin fights Wlad he will win Wlad is on borrowed time people thats if Sultan does'nt beat him first.
