If it was luck, Holmes certainly did his best to increase the odds. He threw a boat load of uppercuts before that one!

You can see by the way his punches miss widely.
I just see it as lucky cause he threw like 100 uppercuts in that round he was bound to get lucky.

That's just my point that Holmes started going punch crazy and was going uppercut happy.
He was gonna land a punch sooner or later.

That same uppercut in the Weaver fight was the one he was setting Tyson up for shame his arm got caught in the ropes though

    Three fights I disagree with

    Lewis vs Rahman - Lucky
Mayorga vs. Forrest I - Lucky
    Marquez vs. Austin - Lucky

    No way either were lucky.

In the Lewis-Rahman fight, Lewis underestimated Rahman coming in. Rahman hurt Lewis with a right hand. Lewis gave that stupid ass grin and backed up with his hands down. Putting himself in position for a perfect punch. Which Rahman took advantage of.

In Mayorga-Forrest, Everybody knew Mayorga's only chance to win was to brawl. He forced Forrest to fight his fight. And Forrest got knocked out in the process. That's not luck

In Marquez-Austin, Marquez corner told him before the round that he was losing and needed to take the fight to Austin. Which he did. Marquez was stunned early in the round, but he came back to hurt and knock Austin out. That's not luck. That's heart.
