    I have a few questions:

#1 during heavy rain or shortly after can't a match be postponed or even called off for another day?

#2 Doesn't Sir Alex Furgusson seem like a better fit as manager of ENGLAND seeing how he's from there and is a F****** knight?

#3 Wouldn't guys on the England team who also play for Chelsea be reluctant to play for Jose again?

    #4 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....YOU SUCK!
jesus u lot never look at freaking maps do you.

I can't tell by a name where they are from....I didn't look at his fucking biography or anything I just assumed he was English....I guess I made a mistake, please don't let me forget about such a simple misunderstanding....I do really wish to be joked about and bitched at.

I know more geography than the average American or the average Brit so get off my ass, at least I know who Alex Furgusson is.

How do you know how much geography that the average American knows, or even the average Brit for that matter? I'd imagine it was quite a well known fact that Ferguson was Scottish. Sort of like that Sean Connery dude you Americans have taken to your bosom.

This post is merely complying with your desire to be joked about and bitched at......asshole.

Well it's not a well know fact over here....I never heard the guy speak so I couldn't tell by his accent, I figure the name Furgusson could just as easily be English...but I guess I am wrong.

But I am not wrong about Freddy Adu and Jozy Altidore and that's final

I'm sure we can resurrect this thread in five or six years time and we can see what Altidore and Adu have achieved for themselves in the football world. Hopefully they won't suffer from the same hype that jinxed Ibrahim Bakayoko's career, who was once destined to be an ATG in his teens and early 20s, but never quite made it.

I don't get England's team, I mean I don't think they're on a level with teams like Brazil, but they've got good players, not sure why they don't play well together. Is Paul Robinson still the keeper? Fuck's sake he sucks, that's the one thing the U.S. team has had is pretty good goalkeepers.

Anyway, it'd be a bit of a landmark for U.S. soccer if Altidore went to Real Madrid but how long would it be before he actually got into the playing rotation? I guess it wouldn't hurt for him to train over there even if he wasn't playing.

I've heard that Adu's doing pretty well for Benfica? Dempsey's pretty good, just wish he had some speed.

Half those players I listed are in their early 20's.....that is great competition for the American players since the MLS is more of a developmental league right now....I am simply saying the US is getting better and it's not a given that the US would lose to England

Steve McClaren is going to the England Christmas party dressed as a pumpkin, he's hoping someone can turn him into a fucking coach!

Oxo have brought out a red and white cube to celebrate England's Euro 2008 campaign.

    It's called the Laughing Stock
