    Non-british?
Good luck, because nobody in the states cared, except for a few die hards
Theres about 20 Americans who watched the thing, there might be one person other then me that taped it,but I have my doubts.
Joe did what he needed to do,look busy for the home crowd,Kessler didnt do what he needed to do,drop Joe
But how would have turned out if it wasnt in Cardiff?
How would it have turned out if Kessler wasnt fighting one handed?
Thats crap Kessler was throwing the right hand throughout the whole fight, it wouldn't of mattered where it happened on the moon, on earth, Calzaghe is better fighter end of and your saying no one in USA cared ?? even though it was on HBO

I love these people they accuse Calzaghe of ducking Kessler then he beats Kessler convincing and they still make lame excuses to try and discredit Calzaghe.
HBO is a half step above ESPN

It looks like Joes mainly hitting arms and hips, but Kessler isnt doing the damage he needs to do,he's landing but Joe is still there the entire time
What Im saying is,would it be a totally different fight if a one handed Kessler didnt have to go for a knockout?
You and everyone else knows the only way he was walking out of Cardiff with a win was putting Joe down
Would it be different if it was in Vegas?
    And he had both hands?

Its called im watching the fight with *hater Calzaghe glasses on* what the hell are you on about seriously ?? the fight wasn't even close. Kessler himself didn't even think he won and no one else did aswell so your obviously a hater and that comment proves it.

    One handed ??

He through the right hand throughout the whole fight, one handed don't make me laugh

Throwing it,and having power on it is totally different
It was a great fight to watch
Now lets have it on neutral territory
    Taylor had to refight Hopkins
    Frazier had to refight Ali
The only reason Joe wont refight Kessler is Mikkels managment team cant read a damned contract well enough to make sure theres a rematch clause
Throwing it,and having power on it is totally different

He threw it with power he just wasn't landing it often.

    Taylor had to refight Hopkins
    Frazier had to refight Ali

Oh come on Taylor beat Hopkins by a very controversial decision he had to rematch Hopkins and Frazier vs Ali

Those fights are nothing like Kessler vs Calzaghe, Calzaghe beat Kessler by atleast 4 rounds easy as pie the better man won end of there is no need for a rematch.
Kessler lands it through the entire fight,he's got no drive on it

Your right,a sports writer in Britain talking about a British Isle fighter obviously knows more then I do
I mean hell whats 30 years in the sport
Hell screw that, whats training professional boxers
Obviously a pen and a pad and a home bias is WAY more credible
Im saying I dont know that he won,and Id like to see a rematch outside of Cardiff, and of course thats an obvious attack on Joe,because dont you know the sun shines out of Joe's precious a$$

I can't see anything wrong with Joe's comments. Hopkins wants to fight him in June or July - that's fine and Calzaghe needs to fight before that instead of sitting around for 6 months.

They have been negotiating with Clinton Woods and Woods even claims that a deal has just about been done.

But if the Woods fight doesn't come off then another fight at Super Middleweight would be the solution. Plenty of worthy opponents out there; Anthony Mundine, Lucian Bute, Edison Miranda etc
    -----------
On a separate issue that's going on in this thread - I thought and know Calzaghe beat Kessler. Calzaghe's jab and timing worked a treat after the first 4 rounds which I had even.

    No actually you arent
All of the above were PPV's in the states
Which last I checked has more people in one of our states then in the entire British Isles
They have to give Calzaghe fights away here,I couldnt afford Hopkins/Wright,I get Joe fights as a freebie

You are gibbering like a madman. Calzaghe has fought outside of Wales countless times. Jones Jr and Hopkins are the ultimate anti travellers.

Come on Joe, Woods wants to fight you and so does Froch. If you cant get a Hopkins or a Jones in the ring yet then give us a decent domestic fight before your last big Hurrah over in the States.
What, you haven't had enough domestic Calzaghe fights? Please

Calzaghe clearly won the fight. After the first 4 rounds he pulled away and fought at a pace that Kess couldn't keep up with.

Kess is a great fighter but he could fight Joe 10 times and loss ten times nomatter where the fight was.

Sitting in my house in Boston Massachusetts I saw Calzaghe take Kessler's titles. There was no doubt in my mind.
