Not too unlike myself so!
The thing is, when your boxing urself in a certain generation, it's difficult to keep in mind fighters of the past as it is to keep in mind the achievements of boxers currently active for long periods.
I'm a HUGE ricky fan, but i know in my heart that Floyd is a heavy favourite, he's fought some unbelievable fighters and is as of yet undefeated.
So for Ricky to win this it will take something extra, something superhuman! And il be saying a prayer tonight fpr him to do just that!

Personally i think that crap that floyd does with roger is just a choreographed routine either for warm up or TV...there's no way in hell that's his serious pad work for a fight...but that's just what i think.

It's actually the type of padwork used by the mayweathers when learning and practising the "mayweather shell." It's as much defensive as it is offensive really.Originally Posted by JonesJrMayweather+Mosley

With all due respect, I think there's way too much amateur pyschoanalysis going on here. Why did Ricky say this? Why did Floyd do that? Is he nervous? Is he underestimating him? Gimme a break! I can guarantee two things; 1) both fighters are nervous, and 2) neither one is taking the other lightly. As for Hatton making fun of Mayweather, who really gives a shite? Is he supposed to grovel at Mayweather's feet like some groupie? Say what you want about Ricky Hatton, but the guy is 43-0. I think he's earned the right to talk a little trash if wants to. I don't mean to sound like a cynical prick, but I just think some of you look way too deeply into some of this stuff. The bottom line, come December 8, they're gonna both lay it on the line, and may the best man win. I can' wait.![]()

No need to take it so personally bro. Just a simple observation.

Im surprised nobody has come up with the reason why Floyd hits the pads the way he does and what the bennifits are, there are some.

Mayweather won't lose he's been my favorite boxer since I've started following it, along with Roy JOnes Jr back then, and now he is the best in the world... the early rounds could be good, but the more it goes along the harder it will be on Hatton.
