I've watched Chinese San-SHou which is kicks and punches with take downs go against Mauy Thai with its elbows, knees, and they've gone with either rules and the outcomes have come out 50-50 or close to that regardless of what style was used, and these are things both guys had never before practiced. The fact of the matter is, its not as different as some of you guys are making it out to be, and the boxers who have gone over mainly haven't practiced the other aspects of the sport enough, and they've been overconfident in the "superiority" of boxing and their stand up game.
