I think it wont take long to see Hayes frailtys exposed at heavy, Mormeck did hardly anything in there fight.

Haye just hasnt got the tools to live with any fresh young fighters, he is too robotic, that being said, the top fighters at heavy arent that quick so although I dont like Haye as a fighter, unless someone lands on him he will do ok at heavy, he needs to learn how to be a bit busier with his jab otherwise someone will walk through him, hasim will try it
a 15/16 stone version of David Haye is going to be a lot more leathal at heavyweight and powerful than a cruiserweight Haye. The power behind those punches are outstanding! He is all lean muscle, hes in a lot better shape than Rahman and hes faster. He will open Rahman up and blast him out.

I am looking forward to watch Haye fight at HW.

Can he be the man to unite the divided HW kingdom?

I was thinking the same thing before. Could he do it ? Its a tough one to call really. Thats why fighting a man like Rahman will paint more of the picture, an ex champion who has faught a lot of good fighters. Seeing if David Haye can cope with a live heavyweight condender is another story.

Haye-Klit would be an awesome match up, if Haye can do well at heavyweight.

I think haye is gonna be a more effective heavy than cruiserweight. I still have minor doubts about the chin at heavyweight bit thats my only reservations. he beats rahman in my opinion and I think is good enough to win a belt within 18 months

It seems that the main reason that Rahman won't accept that amount of £150,000 is due to the amount of tax he'd have to pay. Can't blame him as after manager fees ect it's a considerable amount less.

Regardless of who he fights at Heavyweight they are all going the same way - out by KO.
I think Haye is still at least 2 years away from his prime years and the man is devastating right now. Nobody in the division has his skill levels or power.

Povetkin vs Haye is going to be the big fight a few years down the line.

what happened in the fight ross ? Solis is lookin good as well and will definatly have a good input in the heavyweight devision. It sounds in the future that the match up will be a good one. I hope it can happen, I want to see Haye in lots of good fights in the years to come.

I doubt this fight will happen.

Why would Rahman want this fight unless they can pay him serious dough? He knows they're not asking him to come over cause they think he'll upset the party.

Credit to Haye though if it happens. The guys got serious bollocks.

If Rahman could sneek a win against Haye imagine that on his record. He needs a big name and hayes chin still has a bit of ? over it. If Rahman was to land a punch like he did against Lewis, its night night time Haye. His defence isnt the best either, so Rahman has a good punchers chance.

For sure, Rahman has a decent chance against Haye.

But fighting for no title and having to travel to England he would ONLY do it for serious money.

I like the fight, especially from Haye's perspective, but don't see how it make's sense.

both need a big win, both have a decent name. I think the fight makes perfect sense. I agree Rahman should take more money, or Haye should go to America for the fight. He will knock him out on home soil and everybody will be happy and he will make more of a name for himself

I think Fenster's talking a fair bit of sense here. For once. Rahman's got a fair bit to lose and not much to gain by coming over to Britain to fight Haye. If Haye loses then Rahman will not get the credit because he'd have been fighting a "jumped-up cruiser" and if he loses then his comeback is shot to hell, and if there's not a big paycheck for him, why?

It is a good match-up for Haye though, a good balance of seasoned veteran and someone who has been losing his higher level fights of late. Haye KO in 4 would be my call.

But Rahman needs a risk, he cant just stay fighting bums. He needs a name and Haye can do this for him. It makes sense the fight and I hope it happens

Rahman can probably get a more established heavyweight name, more money and be the home fighter in the US, so for me the clincher has to be the cash the HAye camp can front up.
