    He lost one fight.

    Big deal.
    He hasnt....

But has anyone really truly enjoyed a fight after the Tsyzu fight?

The KO of Maussa and Castillo was good.

The only reason Collazo was any good, or suspensful, was that because Hatton was out on his feet, and Urango was terrible match, and Flloyd destroyed him, albeit the build up was good.

    Hit Hold Hit Hold

And to the guy who said I am biased, if you read in my post, its says Ricky is my favourite boxer, so how is that biased againast him?
If he hasn't put on a performance that you enjoyed watching in 3 years, it's fairly odd that he would be your pick for favourite boxer.. You must not be very hard to please.
Ricky Hatton Tszyu and Pre was great, after was poor.

But when your a fan, like your football team, even though they are not entertaining, you still go watch them.

Bad Times and the Good, I want him to do well, I just feel when I pay 15 pound a time for his fights, its a bit sad that he hits hold, hits holds...

    Nope,

Hence why I had full respect when he beat Hatton, he outclassed Hatton outside and INSIDE

Previously to this I would never get up to watch Mayweather (living in UK)

Ricky Hatton will be remembered for dominating a division for a number of years. He beat P4P#2 in Tszyu and all the best 140's around. He hasn't ducked anyone at 140 and beaten all that was put infront of him at that weight.

If he beats Paulie, Witter, Pac or anyone who challenges him at 140 then he will be rememebered at the best. If someone comes into your turf and you beat them, you get respect and you get notoriety.

There is a lot to be said for dominating a division. Joe Calzaghe will go down as a great at SMW. Aaron Pryor did it at Light Welterweight and Ricky will go down as somoeone who dominated at LWW!

If he would have faced and beaten Cotto at lightwelterweight you would have been right...

I still can't find it in my heart to completely write off Ricky, I can't help but hope he can come back and unify the 140 division and dominate til he retires.

    .
Actually, castillo also looked crappy vs Reyes. Have you heard of Reyes before or since?

Additionally, Castillo did look shot from watching the fight. The guy was practically falling over himself. And, with all due respect, Castillo only won ONE round on ONE scorecard...contrary to your assertion.

    Please tell the truth.
    Hi Dios welcome back

He won very comfortably against Reyes.

I aplogise for blatantly lying about the scorecard.

As for the fight, he fell over the in the first 20 seconds.....but apart from that he was looking fine. Suppose that's a matter of opinion.

The lack of announcements and news from Hatton is worrying to say the least. The longer he stays out of training this time I feel the farther he will drop intoweight problems and lack of fitness.

I wouldn't worry too much Donny.

He is expecting to fight again late May in the UK.

The thing is ono, being around boxers so much and around the gym so much, I know exactly how hard it is to prepare for any fight, let alone a world title fight, He can't keep doing this or he'll actually end up losing because of neglecting himself.

Motivation is my biggest worry for him, it must be difficult to get yourself up for a fight that cannot possibly come close to the hype of fighting the best on the planet.

IMO he needs to fight Witter soon and win nif he wants to claim to be undisputed champion of the weight, he's already held the belt Paulie has, and Paulie looked crap last time out. It's the biggest genuine fight out there for him at the moment.

Difference between me and you is you are a "fan" of a boxer(s), I am a "fan" of the Sport of Boxing. I have no favorite boxer. I respect them all to a point. Win or Lose. All fights are entertaining to watch. Even the boring ones.

I think fighting Junior Witter will add to his legacy he needs to fight him if he retires without fighting him it will be one of them things where the British fans say how good he was but he should have fought Witter.David Haye won the undisputed cruiserweight crown he could have gone upto heavyweight but instead he has chosen to fight Enzo for the british fans its a fight that had to happen but he could have got away without having.Hatton vs Witter is similar to Haye vs Maccerinelli its just a fight that needs to happen for boxing for the fans and most of all for the fighters legacy.

I totally agree Bomp, his confidence will be knocked too without doubt.

However, as i stated earlier I can't bring myself to write him off, Come on Ricky!!!
