Well I'll leave that pure speculation alone

Not to mention Slowtto dont want no part of Mayweather and neither does Arum, notice Arum aint throwing $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ at Mayweather to fight Cotto, cause he looked like an azz after telling everybody Margarito was the boogie man and then he got served by Williams now Burrito takes a back seat to Cotto until he gets checked to.. Have Cotto beat a champ for his titles before you have him adopt you

Cotto has some provin to do and it aint by beatin Old Moselys and Idiotic Judahs... Floyd had beaten more champs for there titles and owned divisions at this juncture than Cotto has from a career comparison at the moment..
    How about.

    Angel Manfredy
    Jesus Chavez

They were both in there prime and they were both feared contenders at that time, and even though Genaro Hernandez wern't a spring chicken. He still had never been beaten at Super Featherweight When Mayweather fought him, and plus Genaro Hernandez was on a good winning streak beating good fighters like Azumah Nelson who is a legend, and the tough durable Carlos Hernandez who gave Erik Morales all he could handle.

Cotto has never beat a legitimate Champion for any of his titles(WERE VACATED WHEN HE CLAIMED THEM) nor has he beat a young star fighter in his prime... All the current title holders at Welterweight have with the exception of Cotto himself
The only names you can throw at us are Corrales and Hatton. I think Cotto would have handed Hatton his first loss.

Who else that is so great has the so called greatest of all times beat? A bunch of old men is what you have left.

A bunch of old men had belts whoopdee doo.
    So what?

I know that Cotto will step it up and fight the big names after he mops Gomez.
Will Floyd fight any Welter Weights? He already said he wanted nothing to do with any of the Welters. NONE! ZERO! ZIP!
When Cotto finishes cleaning house, let's see where Chicken head Floyd stands. I bet he goes into retirement again. lol

Who has beaten more undefeated fighters? Cotto or Mayweather Jr?

All you have is lil Ricky Hatton. Tell little Ricky Hatton to come up to 147 and fight Cotto and see if Cotto does not mop Ricky in 6. Like I said before, anyone Floyd can beat, Cotto can beat faster and in a more destructive manner. I guess Cotto would have to knock lil Ricky out of the ring to top the ring post knock out. Lucky shot by Mayweather Jr. and you know it. Ricky was so one dimesional it was a pathetic showing.
    How did Floyd beat Ricky?
Floyd ducked below the waist over and over. ILLEGAL.
    Bribed Joe Cortez. ILLEGAL
Elbowed the shiet out of Ricky. ILLEGAL
Shoved his glove and his elbow into Ricky's throat, neck and face. ILLEGAL.

What was so great about Floyd's dirty tactics?

Who did most of the HOLDING in that fight?

Floyd is a pathetic buffoon and got a lucky punch in on a one dimensional fighter who just kept jumping in and throwing punches at the sky while floyd ducked below his waist. LMAO

Seriously, take your pick of ILLEGAL tactics.

Floyd waiting for Ricky to stick his d1ck in his ear? WTF!? Ducking below the waist.

Is Floyd trying to sniff Ricky's crotch here?

Is he trying to now sniff Ricky's rear?

Wating to get ear phuked again?

Ah there it is! Ricky's crotch all up in Floyd's ear. WTF!? How does this happen?

In this match, most of the hugging was done by Floyd and yet Ricky was the one getting called on it even though it was Floyd who innitiated the holding and hugging.

Shoving your glove into your opponents face is ILLEGAL.

So why is Cortez YELLING at Ricky? (See bribes and corrupt boxing officials) Google it.

Floyd used the elbow so much in this fight, I thought I was watching UFC/MMA

    Elbow! ILLEGAL.

Floyd was warned over and over again about the elbow and there were times when Cortez said nothing and let Floyd use the elbow at will.

So what makes you so proud of this chicken shiet so called fighter? Floyd is a disgrace.

    I'm done.

The style of Cotto vs Gomez will assure a very good and entertaining fight... while Gomez is standing.

Who has Cintron beat? Who has Mayweather beat at Welterweight? Are you saying Ricky Hatton is a genuine Welterweight?

I'll choose to say that Floyd is a great fighter that has beaten some great fighters... and that Cotto is also a great fighter that has also beaten some great fighters. A fight between the two would be great, and I would root for Cotto. I recognize, however, that it would be a difficult fight.

I think Gomez is getting under estimated here he has had 2 tough fights himself a big step up to fight and stop Gatti granted Gatti was at the end of his career but still a good result. Then a tough fight against Tackie who gives everybody a tough fight even Ricky Hatton said Tackie was his toughest fight.Im not saying he will beat Cotto but it ain't gunna be a walk in the park for Cotto i don't think Gomez would have taken this world title oppotunity if he did'nt think he had a chance he could have waited and built up his record abit.
