IMO he has a punchers chance against Wlad, and that's all. I'd give him a good chance against anyone else at the top at the moment, the type of fighter he'd really struggle with is a heavy version of a tough come forward fighter like Mormeck/Fragommeni since the Heavyweight version should be able to take the early punishment and finish him off, but i can't think of any of the current crop who fit that description. IMO the blueprint (for a guy of without a massive height advantage) to beat Haye is to take away his punching room and keep him fighting at a pace.
He's calling out everybody I give him that, but that doesn't mean I have to respect him.

Zab Judah calls out everybody and is willing to step in the ring with anyone............

He's still an absolute tosser though

He's just picking up where James Toney left off at Heavyweight (trash talk wise). Personally I think the big guys need more trash talk to get things motivated, it is such a slow moving division. More fights more often, generate some excitement, put something on the line.

    Look in 2007

    Wlad - IBF Champ - 2 fights

Sultan Ibragimov - WBO Champ - 3 fights

Ruslan Chagaev - WBA Champ - 1 fight

Oleg Maskaev - WBC Champ - 0 fights

Personally I look forward to having Haye at HW, at least he gives us something to talk about inbetween fights.

I mean I respect for taking chances, he didn't have to fight Enzo but he did. I f he hadn't fought Enzo (or lost) and was still calling everyone out then he would look as much of an idiot as Zab.

Well there are mandatories and eliminator fights and hell Wlad had to pull out all the stops to get a unification fight.

David Haye brings nothing different to the table....if he was a DKP fighter then hell yes Don would move heaven and earth to get a tournament where he would be involved

I usually can't stand David Haye for his arrogance and the crap he talks..but he has proved himself now and it is a bit more warranted.
I also didn't like it for the same reason I don't like Anthony Small's arrogance and loud mouth..because it seems like they're trying too hard to be arseholes. They strike me as nice guys outside of the ring and just seem to be putting it on. My suspicions were confirmed today by my trainer who was once in a film with Haye who revealed to me what a really nice guy David Haye is. Same with Anthony Small, I work with one of his friends.

Also I didn't see much wrong with that radio interview...maybe I'm used to Haye now but I thought he showed Charisma and a fairly good sense of humour. E.G, When they played his entrance theme vs Enzo. We need more charisma in the heavyweight division seeing as there aren't any characters there what so ever. I'm split on Haye. Part of me wants him to get knocked out due to his arrogance but another part of me know's that he'll be good for the heavyweight division because everyone can agree that it needs a damn good shake-up!

We (UK fight fans) have been screaming out for these times and when they arrive we get our own knocking em for their achievments
I think he's just selling himself as best he can and he clearly believes he can dominate the Heavies with his speed and power, yeah he's a little chinny and takes risks but doesn't that make him all the more exciting to watch? (Does for me).
I can give him nothing but respect because he has the balls to fight anyone and only see's a duck as a feathered animal which is more than can be said for a sh*tload of current fighters.
Haye has everything you could want/need to become a GLOBAL superstar imo and i fully expect him to bring one of the Heavyweight straps back to the UK.
Holyfield managed it from cruiser and fought much MUCH tougher opponents than Haye will face.
    FACT!!!
I suspect Bilbo will change his tune if Haye does what he says he will,if not then you strike me as a poor excuse for a UK fight fan really
Get behind our boys for fucks sake!!!!
I agree, i like haye. Hes actually a very pleasant guy, doesnt talk about money money money all the time and WANTS TO FIGHT EVERYONE! HE DOESNT WANT TO DUCK ANY FIGHTS!

For heavens sake, you have people saying 'no, he mustnt fight klitscho'

    WHY NOT

Haye will finally bring excitement to the division. In a division where most fighters are ducking people, with hardly any talent...do you people not want to see an exciting fighter who goes for the ko?

Sometimes i wonder whats wrong with people. THIS IS BOXING...WE ARE BOXING FANS ARE WE NOT? SURELY YOU WANT TO SEE EXCITING BOXING MATCHES

Haye vs klitscho will be a brilliant fight, big punches, 2 guys with questionable chins...2 big bangers...great entertainment.

    LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!

Well the reason I say Haye shouldn't fight Klitschko is because if we want Haye around for the long run then it's better for his career to have success at heavyweight by fighting and beating the smaller guys and then going after the belt holders and THEN having a unification bout with Wladimir.

...if Haye fights Wlad anytime I think Wlad is going to win but as for right now Wlad would stomp a mudhole in his ass and Haye's career could be in jeopardy because of it. Look at Sam Peter, he fought Wlad a little early and he hasn't been the same since then

Evander Holyfield had to go through some decent competition before Tyson would even consider fighting him and Evander was the greatest cruiserweight in the history of the sport.

I have no doubt Haye will fight Wlad after he has had a number of fights at heavy. He is not stupid, he will get used to the weight and build up his profile. Possibly in 2 years time he will fight and unify the division. He is just building up interest in a very boring division.

No you are mistaken Lyle, Haye is better than Holyfield, he said so himself when he confronted Wlad on the airport escalator

He didn't actually say that did he? Holyfield would have clobbered him in the first 3 rounds without question.

    NO he didn't.

I've heard Haye saying Holyfield is one of his "HEROES" an "INSPIRATION" so he's hardly likely to say that

Haye said he was Bigger then Holyfield.... Also Wlad was being condescending and asked how much Haye weighed... Haye fired back 220lbs
