Default What will De La Hoya do now?

What will he do now he wanted to try an avenge his loss to Mayweather but since he has retired now what? Will he try and push for a fight with Ricky Hatton or even the more dangerous Cotto.

I'm waiting for proof Floyd has retired (vacated belts etc), then we can talk about De La Hoya. I'm not really buying into this retirement bullshit at the moment, I want it set in concrete before I say anymore.

I was just going to ask this as well. My thoughts are that a Hatton fight at Wembley seems a huge possibility if Hatton gets past Paulie. Other than that, maybe Cotto at a catch weight, again if he gets through his next fight. Other than that, I really don't know..... retire hopefully.

Fight Manfredo/Gomez/Mora then do a fucking HBO mini-series like Little house on the prairie trying to tell us it is relevant.

Then that will get us ready for the Mega fight between ODLH against Forbes II.

Hatton would generate the most money, so probably Hatton.

Legacy has nothing to do with ODLH's fight choice.

He may try and wait it out to see if Mayweather really IS retiring, like the rest of us.

I wouldn't mind seeing that for the sole reason that I want everyone to see what I see:that Oscar is NOWHERE near the fighter he once was and these 2 would eat him alive. Pitty patty combos, a decent jabs for 6 rounds and a lack of stamina=an ass whooping either from the Puerto Rican Destroyer who would break his ribs or the Mexican badass who would just plain out blow him away in the second half of the fight.

Dude, Margarito would have a very slim chance of beating Oscar, just as he does beating Cotto. Use your eyes and forgot who you like more for a second.
