Riddick Bowe vs Holyfield 1. He had other good nights, but on that night, he could have beaten just about anybody.

Mickey Ward in the first Gatti fight.

Yeah I was gonna say that 1 . He had it all that nigt . Speed , movement, boxing ability and abit of pop in his punches

Id say Bowe was another 1. He looked great for one night only vs Evander the 1st time but never quite reached those heights again .

You could argue that he had two great nights against Ali and Foreman although I had not watched either fight.

He never had a great night against Muhammad Ali both men didn't fight too well, especially Muhammad Ali who was very out of shape at 230+ pounds. But Young deserved the nod against Ali though no question IMO.

But Jimmy Young fought a great fight against George Foreman no question, he got badly hurt in the 7th round and comeback to floor Foreman in the last round.

Jimmy Young was great in that fight. Fought off the back foot superb.

I`ll upload if you like. Make no mistake as old as Ali was he still took some beating and Young was fire that night in 76.

TBH as good if not better than beating an unintrested out of shape Foreman.

Supprised nobody has mentioned Randy Turpin.

His win over Sugar Ray Robinson is proboly the best win for any British fight of all time.

What? I thought Romero won against Tapia. I know Ayala did twice, but Ayala also whipped Bones Adams twice who was a good fighter.

When was Romero good then? lol

Nah Danny Romero lost over 12 rounds to Johnny Tapia i've seen the fight twice, so im pretty sure. As for Danny Romero's other fights i've never seen any of his other fights, so i wouldn't know if he was or wasn't great in another fight.

That one was supposed to be a huge hometown showdown, solid match up.Tapia really put on a clinic, kept Romero's vaunted power in check and had a real good showing.I think Romero's upset loss to W.Salazar prior took a little luster off of Romero, was busted up bad but power was solid.
