i believe in God, there is just one problem and that's that i believe God to be in my heart. i don't believe in religion per say. i don't follow any single type of religion as i think religion is just like a sales person trying to pitch you a product. its just a product in my opinion. i have God in my heart and that is all i need. i do believe there is a higher power but the only way to really get in touch with God is to look deep inside of yourself. not by following religion as a whole. plus it makes me much happier like this. i don't know if anyone understands what i just posted as its pretty confusing to me as well![]()

I tend to agree with your comments regarding organised religion. You know Korea, and its my perception that some of the Christian churches here are a scam. I have an American Christian friend who was shocked at the amount of money the congregation were handing over at one of the gatherings. Apparently its quite lucrative to be a priest here. I dont think thats a good thing at all. "Come on over folks and buy your way into the best possible afterlife! Ya just gotta believe!". Erm....okay.
I have the utmost respect for people who have faith or a belief system. Im just such a cynical bugger though. When I begin to question life and what it means I find the questions become more and more and the abyss is such a vast and horrible thing to look into. Perhaps the abyss is really just a mirror, and thats a really disconcerting notion. I am nothing and there is no purpose and each and every one of my actions is completely absurd. Thats such a bleak and hopeless thing to dwell on. Its healthier not to linger there really. Not that I spend all of my time thinking in that way. I do have my moments though.
I do not think God of any discripition exists.
I suppose I don't. But it would depend on your definition of god. If someone was to say that god is a metaphor for life. Then I would have to agree that there is a prescence of god. But generally speaking I dont think I do. Im possibly an atheistic existentialist with a dash of nihilism thrown in for good measure.![]()

The amendment to the law of entropy disproves your rational...
" The law of entropy, or the second law of thermodynamics, along with the first law of thermodynamics comprise the most fundamental laws of physics. Entropy (the subject of the second law) and energy (the subject of the first law) and their relationship are fundamental to an understanding not just of physics, but to life (biology, evolutionary theory, ecology), cognition (psychology). According to the old view, the second law was viewed as a 'law of disorder'. The major revolution in the last decade is the recognition of the "law of maximum entropy production" or "MEP" and with it an expanded view of thermodynamics showing that the spontaneous production of order from disorder is the expected consequence of basic laws. This site provides basic texts, articles, links, and references that take the reader from the classical views of thermodynamics in simple terms, to today's new and richer understanding"
Personally I don't believe in religion at all, it has bought us nothing but war and to be honest a lot of time of peoples lives wasted in churches in my view. Not to mention the amount of money which some of these organisations have (the catholic church). I do believe there are things out there which we can not explain however, which may mean there is a god, but it sure in hell isn't with the current religions we have. Many of the so called saviours/prophets/gods have followed the sun's life and are hence pagan without many people realising it, most famous of all is Jesus.
For those who believe in God, most of the big questions are answered. But for those of us who can't readily accept the God formula, the big answers don't remain stone-written. We adjust to new conditions and discoveries. We are pliable. Love need not be a command or faith a dictum. I am my own God. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us.
