Well I guess that explains it. The minimum wage here won't be 10.25 till like 2025, to people like Lyle that's just handouts for the poor, the lazy poor.

I'm actually a bit confused/disappointed now after looking it up to find the exacts on it. I've just been following the news which goes by minimum wage and have no idea what I am making and assumed that is what it was. But I guess there is a lower student wage we get.

No mate, as long as they keep paying for ludicrously marked up products the manager will do anything to humour them and pretend that they are right.

I don't know if its being in a consumer environment or what... maybe because people value their money so much and half of the time don't really understand what they're spending it on... how things work etc but as a whole the general public are alarmingly stupid.

But yeah... unless you want 'special mayonnaise' on your burger don't work yourself until AFTER you've eaten!
