He turned it down cuz he said Oscar was to big. Now after Oscar-Pac all of a sudden Hatton says he would of beat him too. LOL. Sure Hatton. Sure
LOL So you really think De La Hoya, that statue that Pacquiao fought would beat Hatton? LOL Ok that is your opinion, but I wish they would fight It would be the first fight in a long time where I really wouldn't be all that nervous.
Pac had the perfect game plan for Oscar. I seriously doubt Hatton can dart in an out the way Pac did. He has nowhere near the speed Pac has

sorry but Hatton would beat Oscar at 147 just as bad or worse than Pac did, DLH would still be weight drained, and i doubt he's found the fountain of youth to turn back the clock

DLH is only 35. He's part time fighter. He only fought 45 times from 1992 to 2008. He didn't go through many wars. I don't think he's that shot like most people make him. I think his nutritionist screwed him up.

Definetly, he still looked good against Floyd and what's his name who won the contender.

I'm just worried that it could have affected him long term, and whilst 35 isn't ancient, especially at the higher weights Oscar is a smaller fighter who has spent a lot of his career fighting below what is not his natural weight.

He's done. Anyone who is in the top ten of their division could probably give him a good run for his money & I'd wager the top 3 or 4 guys in the divisions from 140 to 160 would batter him badly. He was done when in the Mayweather fight he was getting outdone by a guy who must have weighed in about 10-15lbs lighter than him (regardless of how good PBF is). He also looked shot against Forbes, who as much as I like him, is a former 130 champ fighting about 15lbs above his fighting weight & marking him up. Just give it up, its over.

What do I think Oscar WILL do? Or SHOULD do? The question is unclear.

What WILL he do? He'll probably hang around, make some more noise about wanting to cement his legacy, and get his computer to spit out another "safe" opponent, one against which he'll have better luck than against Pacquiao.

What SHOULD he do? Retire and concentrate on promoting boxing.

actually i'll be pretty surprised if he says he's gonna fight on come Tuesday, he's been basically leading up to it

He needs to start using his name and fame to promote the sport into the mainstream, and start nudging the old slimebags like Arum and King off into retirement. I'd like Oscar better as a promoter and ambassador of boxing than I did when he was boxing himself.

Agreed. One of the good things about the ODLH-PBF & PBF-Hatton fights was that both boxers were promoted by boxers, and it was satisfying knowing that neither Arum or King were getting their dirty little hands on any of that cash.

After the Pacquiao fight ODLH walked over to Freddie Roach and said and I quote:

"I just don't have it any more."

I say he'll announce he's retiring from boxing.

I'm guessing Hoya will announce his retirement as a boxer... and PAC gets credit of placing Hoya to retirement... Tho Hoya still remain as one of PAC's idols...

Oscar's nutritionist should retire... no elite athlete will want to work with him now.

Pac is so mighty he ended two careers in one night and one of the guys he didn't even touch!!

Oscar sees Hopkins and Sugar Shane, two of his buddies and legends still going on way past their prime, he will not retire ans will want to follow their trails a bit more, especially as he likes money a lot. I say he,ll make 2-3 more fights or something like that, he'll start with one he can definitely win and will drag attention (JCC for obvious reasons) then 2 scenarios: he goes for another one to keep being in shape and then go for a last big one or he'll try the big one immediately. Personally, I really do not believe he will retire now with the examples around him and with a few more possible go to money. Though I am no more a fan of Oscar, I do not think he's done, he deserved a razor thin draw against FLoyd and he was 15 pounds below what he should have been against Floyd. He's not the one he used to be, maybe, but he definitely has enough legs and pep to make a few good fights.

I would agree with you except that I don't think copper rusts.... it just gets collects that whitish crusty stuff.

Most of pro-athletes (I'd say 90%). When they say they will retire, they don't really mean it. They always come back for another shot.
